  • Publication number: 20260010145
Abstract: A computer numerically controlled machine may include a source configured to deliver an electromagnetic energy to at least one location within an interior space of the computer-numerically-controlled machine. The electromagnetic energy may have a first range of wavelengths from a visible spectrum. An enclosure defining at least a portion of the interior space of the computer numerically controlled machine may include a transparent portion configured to filter the first range of wavelengths associated with the electromagnetic energy. Moreover, the transparent portion may reflect and/or transmit at least a second range of wavelengths from the visible spectrum not associated with the electromagnetic energy such that the transparent portion of the enclosure exhibits a first color corresponding to the second range of wavelengths.

  • Patent number: 12403549
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include a gantry assembly that has (i) a moveable carriage with a laser head affixed thereto and (ii) two sides (moveable subassemblies) that are connected by a joining subassembly. One side of the gantry has two motors: (i) a first motor (x-axis motor) that moves the carriage along a first axis (x-axis) between the two sides of the gantry, and (ii) a second motor (y-axis motor) that moves the gantry along a second axis (y-axis) perpendicular to the first axis. In some embodiments, the gantry assembly also includes a drive shaft (or alternative drive mechanism) operated by the second motor (y-axis motor) to facilitate movement of the two sides of the gantry together along the second axis (y-axis).

  • Publication number: 20250025962
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include a CNC machine comprising: (i) a laser head; (ii) a housing defining an interior space bounded by an interior floor, interior walls, and an openable lid that has a lid camera assembly with a camera for capturing images of the interior space; (iii) a material bed configured to support material placed within the interior space; (iv) a first material passthrough opening on a first side of the housing, wherein the first material passthrough opening comprises a curtain, wherein the curtain is arranged to block laser light from exiting through the first material passthrough opening while material is inserted through the first material passthrough opening; and (v) an exhaust port configured to route fumes from within the interior space to an air filter separate from the CNC machine.

  • Patent number: 9968864
Abstract: A multi-body self-propelled device can include a drive body and a coupled head. The drive body can include a spherical housing and an internal drive system within the spherical housing to propel the multi-body self-propelled device. The drive body can further include a magnet support assembly comprising a rotating portion including a plurality of magnets and a stationary portion comprising one or more magnets. The drive body can further include a yaw motor to drive the rotating portion of the magnet support assembly. The coupled head can include (i) a corresponding rotating portion comprising a plurality of magnets in magnetic interaction, through the spherical housing, with the plurality of magnets of the magnet support assembly, and (ii) a corresponding stationary portion comprising one or more magnets in magnetic interaction with the one or more magnets of the magnet support assembly.

  • Publication number: 20170266576
Abstract: A multi-body self-propelled device can include a drive body and a coupled head. The drive body can include a spherical housing and an internal drive system within the spherical housing to propel the multi-body self-propelled device. The drive body can further include a magnet holder coupled to the internal drive system to hold a first set of magnetic elements. The coupled head can include a base plate to hold a second set of magnetic elements to create a magnetic interaction with the first set of magnetic elements through the spherical housing. The coupled head can further include a housing structure and a yaw motor that rotates the housing structure independently in relation to the base plate and the drive body.

  • Publication number: 20070086585
Abstract: An architecture for providing multi-media service to a client includes a web page host server for providing pages of information capable of display by a client browser, and a contact center platform capable of establishing communication between a representative and the client via telephone. At least one of the pages provided by the host server includes an indication of service options available from the contact center platform, and further includes an indication of delay associated with provision of one of those service options. In response to selection of one of the callback options by the customer, the customer is placed in a virtual callback queue in the contact center platform. Selected customer data including phone number is then provided to the contact center platform for use in establishing the callback and providing the customer service representative with information in order to avoid duplicative gathering of particular information.
