Abstract: The flow measurement device of the present invention incorporates numerous novel features. For example, the device includes a displacement measuring device to measure the position of a movable plate member, a self-oscillation dampener to dampen oscillations of the plate member, one or more stiffening members engaging or incorporated into the plate member to increase the resonant frequency of the plate member and reduce flutter, and a conduit providing for differing directions of air flow at different points along its length to eliminate the effects of gravity on flow measurements.

Abstract: Apparatus for providing an electrical system with protection against electrical shock in the event of a ground fault. The electrical system supplies power from a central mains inlet to at least one local electrical device. The central mains inlet includes a central ground fault detector and interrupter actuatable upon detection of a first predetermined level of current imbalance to interrupt the central mains inlet. A local ground fault detector is associated with the at least one local electrical device and is actuatable upon detecting a current imbalance of a second predetermined level which is lower than the first predetermined level. Controls are effective upon actuation of the local ground fault interrupter to actuate the central ground fault detector to cause it to interrupt the central mains inlet.

Abstract: An ultrasonic nebulizer includes a supply container for the liquid to be nebulized, and an electrolytic cell having electrodes for generating a gas according to the amount of electricity conducted through the electrodes. The generated gas is effective to control the pressure in, or volume of, the supply container, and thereby the feed of the liquid therefrom to the ultrasonic nebulizer nozzle.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a device ascertaining that a vehicle does not exceed a pre-set speed limit and/or a pre-set engine RPM limit. Said device comprises means for transferring the input movement from the accelerator to means for contacting the output movement; means for transferring said output movement to the speed control unit; electrical means actuating said control means at the proper time, means for reading the speed and/or the engine RPM and means for pre-setting the desired speed limit and/or engine RPM limit. Said device may comprise additional means for protecting the vehicle to be driven by unauthorized persons. The device may be utilized for any vehicle and/or machine which is actuated by a lever and the drawing distance together with the load determine the speed, e.g., cars, airplanes, tractors and other agricultural implements.
