  • Patent number: 7155789
Abstract: An improvement for a cartridge case trimmer which indexes on the shoulder of the case as established by the resizing die and permits a rotating cutter assembly to trim the neck of cases from the inside at a controllable angle. The cutter assembly includes a notched cutter with a cutting edge for length, a cutting edge for inside chamber, and a notched support plate with a guide which also serves as an outside deburring edge. The rotating cutter assembly has a flywheel mounted to it so as to stabilize the cutter while rotating to reduce the tendency to wobble. Set screws fit within the notches of the notched cutter and notched support plate to both hold them in place and to adjust them independently for the desired shape of the trimmed cartridge case neck.

  • Patent number: 5788429
Abstract: A shaver for cartridge case necks indexes on the shoulder of the case and permits a rotating cutter assembly to shave the neck of cartridge cases at optimum cutting angles by round cutters while a pilot end from the same shaft rotating the cutter assembly supports the case neck.

  • Patent number: 5727295
Abstract: A shaver for cartridge casenecks indexes on the shoulder of the case and permits a rotating cutter assembly to shave the neck of cartridge cases while a pilot end from the same shaft rotating the cutter assembly supports the caseneck.

  • Patent number: 5649464
Abstract: A primer pocket reamer for cartridge cases makes three distinct cuts for removing stake rings, chamfering the outer edge of a primer pocket and endmilling the bottom in a single process. This is accomplished by a cutter with three different rotating cutting edges. The cartridge case is brought to the cutter.

  • Patent number: 5224255
Abstract: A hydraulically activated ram suitable for insertion into blind holes for a bearing has dogs which extend within the hole when the ram is activated. Further activation of the ram results in the ram contacting the blind hole surface and removing the bearing via pressure to the dogs as the ram continues to extend.

  • Patent number: 5200571
Abstract: A primer pocket cleaner for cartridge cases has a bundle of bristles mounted in a base with a retractable spring surrounding the bristles. The base is mounted in a motor to rotate the bundle of bristles. The spring keeps the bundle of bristles together while allowing them to vibrate as a cartridge case primer pocket is pressed against the end of the rotating bundle of bristles not mounted into the base.

  • Patent number: 4686751
Abstract: A trimmer for cartridge cases indexes on the shoulder of the case as established by the resizing die and permits a rotating cutter assembly to trim the neck of cases from the inside at a controllable angle. The cutter assembly includes a cutter with a cutting edge for length, a cutting edge for inside chamfer, and an outside deburring edge. There are two alternate embodiments of the invention, one allows for the device to be assembled from several pieces while the other has as many portions as possible cast or machined into a single item.
