  • Publication number: 20130100982
Abstract: A method for determining the temperature change of a feeder cable of a charging device in that, in a first task, the electromagnetic input pulse is coupled into the feeder cable, the electromagnetic input pulse being able to be reflected in the feeder cable and the reflected portion returning to the charging device as reflected electromagnetic output pulse; in a second task, the pulse shape of the reflected electromagnetic output pulse is determined; in a third task, the pulse shape of the reflected electromagnetic output pulse is compared to a reference pulse shape of the reflected reference pulse; in a fourth task, the temperature change is determined by comparing the two pulse shapes.

  • Publication number: 20120278007
Abstract: A method for checking the plausibility of a torque of an electric machine, calculated on the basis of a machine model, in which a first value of an electromagnetic power of the electric machine is determined from the calculated torque and a rotational speed of the electric machine. Stator current components and stator phase voltage components are calculated from the stator currents and the stator phase voltages with respect to a reference system, which is fixed in relation to the stator. A second value of the electromagnetic power of the electric machine is determined from the stator current components and the stator phase voltage components. If a deviation of the first value of the electromagnetic power of the electric machine from the second value exceeds a predefined power threshold value, the torque of the electric machine, calculated on the basis of the machine model, is classified as implausible.

  • Publication number: 20120109435
Abstract: A control unit for a hybrid vehicle is described, having an electric drive, and an internal combustion engine, and a method for operating a control unit, in particular for a hybrid vehicle. The hybrid vehicle has an electric drive, an internal combustion engine, a traction battery, a power electronics system, current consumers, a control unit and an insulation fault detector. The control unit initiates an emergency operating mode when an insulation fault is detected.

  • Patent number: 8061190
Abstract: Angular adjustment of a camshaft in an internal combustion engine. A vibrational condition of the camshaft is recorded, and an enabling of the camshaft adjustment and/or the use of the instantaneous value of the camshaft position are/is dependent at least temporarily on the recorded vibrational condition.

  • Publication number: 20110093148
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for discharging a high voltage network (2) in a vehicle, the high voltage network (2) comprising at least one energy store (1) and a plurality of high voltage consumers (3). For discharging the high voltage network (2), the electrical energy store (1) is first separated from the remaining on-board power supply system (2) and at least one of the high voltage consumers (3) is switched on so that the charge stored in the network is discharged via the consumers (3).

  • Publication number: 20110006726
Abstract: Methods and associated devices are described for discharging the high-voltage network, particularly a DC voltage intermediate circuit, in which for discharging the capacitors of the high-voltage network, switching devices are used that lie between the capacitors and at least one precharging resistor and a high-voltage battery, and the switching devices are switches having a specifiable positioning of the switching contacts or switching units or relays or contactors, which are switchable with the aid of a control device. The operation of the switching units takes place in such a way that the at least one precharging resistor is used simultaneously for charging and discharging the DC voltage intermediate circuit.

  • Publication number: 20100289499
Abstract: A monitoring device for monitoring a terminal of a terminal component in a power supply system is described, the terminal component being connectable to the power supply system and to a monitoring system via an electrical connection element, and the monitoring device comprising a voltage measuring device for detecting a voltage value of a voltage between a first terminal and a second terminal of the electrical connection element, the first terminal and the second terminal being connectable to the monitoring system, and an evaluation device for evaluating the voltage value, the evaluation device being designed to generate an indicating signal, which indicates a faulty connection to the power supply system if the voltage value differs from a predetermined voltage value.
