  • Patent number: 11926984
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for draining groundwater away from a substantially vertical foundation wall that extends beneath the surface of the ground, and which has an exterior surface in contact with the ground. The drainage system includes a drainage structure that extends longitudinally along an entire interior foundation wall footing. The drainage structure is fabricated from a plurality of foldable polypropylene panels that are secured to and are adjacent to the foundation footing. The drainage structure forms a drainage channel that facilitates the flow of infiltration water to a sump pump or other means for ejecting water, and extracted radon, from proximate the foundation.

  • Publication number: 20080087659
Abstract: A heating device for individually and automatically warming and vibrating one or more containers to thaw, warm, and mix a liquid within the containers, the liquid being cold or frozen. The device heats the contents of each container to a selected temperature by heat exchange between a heated fluid and the contents of the container. A bag or liner holds the fluid to be heated and the container thereby allowing the bag or liner to be placed into a device well or reservoir for heating while vibrating or shaking elements connected to the well or reservoir assist in mixing and uniformly heating the fluid and the container contents. The container typically is a baby bottle, syringe, test tube, or the like.

  • Publication number: 20010048004
Abstract: A solid-foods dispenser receives a stick of solid edible material and dispenses the material in at least one ribbon of desired thickness. The solid-foods dispenser comprising an elongate housing having structural walls defining a chamber bounded by terminal ends wherein the chamber has an internal configuration generally corresponding to the configuration of the stick of material to be dispensed. A first closure is associated with a loading end of the dispenser and is adapted to be removingly engaged from the open terminal end of the housing. A second closure is positioned substantially adjacent the discharge end of the dispenser having a first portion of affixed to the housing and a second portion spaced from a bottom wall of the housing thus defining a discharge slot between second portion and said bottom wall of said chamber.

The solid-foods dispenser comprises an elongate housing having structural walls defining a chamber bounded by terminal ends, the chamber having an internal configuration generally corresponding to the configuration of the stick of material to be dispensed. A first closure adapted to be removingly engaged to one end of the elongate housing has an advance associated therewith and a second closure adapted to be fitted to the other end of the elongate housing has an interchangeable die associated therewith. The advance has a plunger for dispensing the stick wherein the advance moves the plunger. The plunger has a forward end surface configured to mate with the interior surface of the second closure and is positioned within the housing and movable therewithin.

  • Patent number: 5755894
Abstract: An endoscopic instrument cleaning apparatus includes a syringe coupled to a flushing chamber by a form-fitting stopper. A distal, or instrument receiving end of the flushing chamber is inserted into a supply of cleaning fluid and the plunger of the syringe is drawn out to its fully retracted length, thereby filling the syringe and the flushing chamber with cleaning fluid. Then the distal end of an endoscopic instrument is inserted about through an aperture in a stopper having the shape of a conical frustum and is inserted into the flushing chamber to a depth of about 4 inches (10 cm) and the plunger of the syringe is thrust forward to inject pressurized cleaning solution through the endoscopic instrument. In another embodiment, the syringe receiving stopper is recessed within a proximal end of the flush chamber by about 3/8 inches (0.95-1.

  • Patent number: 5730489
Abstract: A folding chair/table includes a rigid seat attached to an X-frame with four legs that fold and then slide under the seat and parallel to it for storage and a rigid backrest connected to a separate backrest frame pivotally attached to the seat, which is stopped from over rotation by the rearwardly upwardly sloping rear legs. The backrest and backrest frame pivot forwardly and downwardly to a position in contact with the front of the seat to form a table.

  • Patent number: 5495646
Abstract: A seat belt comfort clamp provides a vehicle occupant protection from injury and enhanced comfort and convenience and includes a clamp assembly having first and second arms and a pivot member. The pivot member defines an axis extending substantially parallel to the seat belt and pivotally couples the first and second arms together. The first arm pivots between an open position and a closed or clamping position. A spring member biases the first arm from its open position to its clamping position. The first and second arms engage opposite sides of the seat belt and secure the seat belt in a comfortable position when the first arm is in its closed position. The second arm includes a guide member for slidably and adjustably coupling the comfort clamp to the seat belt when the first arm is in its open position.
