Abstract: There is provided a method that includes (a) detecting, at a point on a cable that runs from a controller to an x-ray generator, a prepare signal that is being transmitted from the controller to the x-ray generator to prepare the x-ray generator to generate an x-ray, and (b) transmitting, in response to the detecting, an initialize signal that causes a reset of a digital receiver panel that prepares the digital receiver panel to capture the x-ray. There is also provided a system that performs the method, and a storage device that controls a processor to execute the method.
