Abstract: A luggage and cart assembly carries items and provides a platform to transport additional items. The assembly includes a container having a bottom panel, a top panel, and a perimeter wall. Container wheels are coupled to the container to support the container on a support surface when the container is in a transport position. A handle is coupled to and extendable from the container such that the handle may be grasped while the container is in the transport position. A platform is coupled to the container and selectively extendable from the container for supporting extrinsic items to the container in a position adjacent to the container. Thus, the extrinsic items are transportable with the container by manipulation of the handle while the container is in the transport position.
