Abstract: A heel protector includes a leg engaging section with a first side leg engaging section, a second side leg engaging section, and a third side leg engaging section coupled between the first and second side leg engaging sections. A foot engaging section is coupled to one of the first or second side leg engaging sections and is selectively couplable to the other, defining a leg insertion aperture when coupled. The heel protector can lie in a substantially planar configuration when the foot engaging section is decoupled. The third side leg engaging section defines a heel receiver with a peninsular aperture. A side leg engaging section strap extends distally from the foot engaging section and is selectively couplable to one of the first or second side leg engaging sections. The leg engaging section comprises a compressible cushion layer made of organic or inorganic batting, or combinations thereof.

Abstract: A patient positioner includes an upper patient positioner surface coupled to a lower patient positioner surface along a perimeter. One or more baffles couple the upper patient positioner surface to the lower patient positioner surface interior to the perimeter so as to define a plurality of air chambers within the patient positioner. One or more selectively engaging surface gripping zones are attached to the lower patient positioner surface and are positioned centrally along the one or more baffles on a one-to-one basis such that the grippy feet extend distally beyond surfaces of the plurality of air chambers when in a deflated state and retract within concave lacuna situated beneath apices of the plurality of air chambers when in a deflated state.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a patient repositioning sheet including an inflatable sheet having a lower layer and an upper layer that are urged apart with inflation of the inflatable sheet. The patient repositioning sheet further includes at least one inflatable support, such as an inflatable wedge. The inflatable wedge has a wedge surface that extends obliquely to the upper layer of the inflatable sheet with the inflatable wedge inflated.
