    Abstract: The cigarette extender is a relatively stiff tipping paper an eighth-inch in width and a length equal to the width of the cigarette paper glued to an end of the cigarette paper. The stiff strip is rolled up with the cigarette paper. The stiff end becomes the mouthing end that does not soften excessively by saliva in the mouth to resist mouthing of particulate tobacco.
