Abstract: A method for enhancing voice conversations comprises providing a server interacting with two or more communication devices which carry out a voice communication, said communication devices being provided with software to simultaneously establish a TCP/IP connection between them, which is mediated by said server.

Abstract: A system for allowing the sharing of content available on the screen of a first user's mobile device with a second user, collectively comprises: i) A Screen Casting Engine, suitable to capture the screen of a first mobile device operating as a streamer device, and to send it to other mobile devices or computers over wireless network; ii) Stream Management Circuitry provided in said streamer device, which is suitable to direct the captured screens to multiple targets; iii) Key and touch injection engine, which is suitable to capture key events from a player mobile device or PC, and to send them back to the streamer; and, optionally iv) Social feedback software which allows two phone users to interact—one holding the streamer phone, and the other viewing his display by running a player.

Availability status software comprising one or more agents determines and indicates the availability mode of specifically identified entities. Subscribers are able to establish a personal agent and control policies and preferences remotely using, for example, an internet connected computer-based device. Alternatively, service providers are able to modify the content of the agent of behalf of their subscribers in accordance with predetermined communication preferences (automatic or defined by subscribers).

Abstract: A synchronization method for communication devices via various interfaces such as the web, networked clients, or cellular devices that support WAP or other devices such as PSTN or mobile telephones. Synchronization is performed by the device originating the event sending a request verb indicating the required event to the server. The server sends back an acknowledgment (response) verb to that particular device and an addition verb about the event to all of the subscriber's connected devices (this list includes the device that originated the event if this device is of a type that receives server originated events). A sync maintenance embodiment monitors each device, and when a device is determined to have become unsynchronized, a repair procedure is initiated using status identifiers kept on the devices (Local Status Identifiers) and on the server (Master Status Identifiers) that are sent periodically to the server.

Abstract: A transactional protocol enabling messaging, call functions, personalized communication policies, presence, and address book capabilities. The protocol is used between subscriber clients (windows specific or otherwise) and a server-based communication system. At the lowest level, the protocol uses HTTP as a transport, and a combination of a special URL format and content-information to describe intent and results. Alternate transports such as UDP, TCP, SSL, IPSEC, TLS can also be used. Transactions are taken from families of verb sets, each verb set built using a combination of generic verb headers and device/server/session specific tags. The protocol is transactional in nature and follows a pattern. That is to say that the client (in the client-server relationship, not necessarily a subscriber client) sends a request, and the server (again, not necessarily a subscriber server) replies.
