Patent number: 10085272Abstract: The present invention provides a method for associating a user with a base station based on backhaul capacity in heterogeneous cellular network. First, an available base station set is obtained through the SINRs, and the downlink data rate between the new user and each base station in the available base station set is calculated according to the SINR between them; Then, the usable link capacity factor of each base station is calculated based on the used link capacity and the backhaul capacity; Finally, the optimal base station is selected for the new user i under a constraint which is constructed by the bandwidth of the new user and the usable link capacity factor. The backhaul capacity of each base station is taken into account in selecting the optimal base station to associate with for the new user, thus the real time of user association and the overall performance of heterogeneous cellular network can be guaranteed.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2017Date of Patent: September 25, 2018Assignee: UNIVERSITY OF ELECTRONIC SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OF CHINAInventors: Gang Sun, Yueyue Dai, Du Xu, Dan Liao, Hongfang Yu

Patent number: 8892725Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for detecting Network Anomaly in network architectures based on locator/identifier split, the detection flow is as follows: initialization processing, and in ITR: processing data packets, sending a Map-Request, determining whether to send an additional Map-Request, sending the data packet, processing the Map_Reply, processing EID-to-RLOC Cache entry expired; in ETR: processing data packet, processing Map-Request, determining whether the traffic of the ITR currently sending the Map-Request is abnormal, replying to the ITR of which the query traffic is abnormal, replying to ITR of which the query traffic is abnormal. With respect to the characteristic that the network architecture based on locator/identifier split needs to query the relationship between the locator and the identifier for packet delivery, the present invention detects Network Anomaly based on query traffic instead of network data packet traffic.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2010Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: University of Electronic Scienece and Technology of ChinaInventors: Sheng Wang, Jing Ren, Du Xu, Shizhong Xu

Patent number: 8249449Abstract: A buffer device includes at least one internal switching unit and at least one basic buffer unit. The internal switching unit includes at least two inputs and at least two outputs. The internal switching unit and the basic buffer unit form a closed connection by alternating with each other via one input of the two inputs and one output of the two outputs. Another one of the at least two inputs of the internal switching unit receives a light wave. The internal switching unit outputs the light wave according to a first control signal. The basic buffer unit buffers the lightwave from the internal switching unit. At the same time, a network node and a scheduling method are also provided. A network node with the buffer device has a small scale and is easy to realize, while the data packet loss rate is decreased and the head of line blocking is avoided.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2009Date of Patent: August 21, 2012Assignee: Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yi Zhang, Yongkang Pan, Qingbo Su, Sheng Wang, Du Xu

Patent number: 8059535Abstract: A method and a core router for implementing forward delay for bursts are disclosed. The core router configured with an FDL performs proactive delay processing for the burst to be overlapped after predicting that the burst will be overlapped on the link to be protected, thus reducing the probability of burst conflict on the downstream link to be protected. After finding that burst conflict will occur on the output port of the core router at a future moment, the core router sends a burst delay request to the upstream core router, requesting the upstream core router that has an FDL and the delay capability to delay the burst. Therefore, the FDL configured in the network is brought into full play, and the probability of burst conflict is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2009Date of Patent: November 15, 2011Assignee: Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sheng Wang, Yulei Qi, Du Xu, Shizhong Xu, Yi Zhang
