    Abstract: A decorative escutcheon or flange at the joint between a surface and an appliance protrusion, hole, or valve. The flange may include a decorative and attractive plate and a stem. The stem may be coupled to a rear of the decorative and attractive plate. The decorative and attractive plate may have a hole, such that an item passed through the hole also passes through the hollow stem. The flange is configured to be inserted into an opening on a surface, such that the opening of the surface is at least partially accessible through the hole and the hollow stem.
