The heat-activatable expandable treatment is present on the garment-facing surface in a visually distinctive shape or pattern and provides visual and/or tactile cues to a user of the absorbent article.

Abstract: The present invention provides a compressed package of articles having a packaging component with a seal, and a plurality of compressible articles in an array having an uncompressed length. The compressible articles are compressed to a first compressed state having a first compressed length and disposed within the packaging component in the first compressed state. The packaging component retains the plurality of compressible articles in the first compressed state, and the packaging component and the plurality of compressible articles in the first compressed state form a package having a first package volume. Vacuum compression is used to compress the packaging component and the plurality of compressible articles in the first compressed state disposed in the packaging component together to a second compressed state having a second package volume. The array of compressible articles has a second compressed length after the vacuum compression.

Abstract: The present invention provides a gas permeable pouch which has various uses including as a sterilization pouch for items in need of sterilization. The pouch has a front panel and a back panel, each panel having a top edge margin, a bottom edge margin and two side edge margins wherein the top margin of the front panel is directly or indirectly joined to the top edge margin of the back panel and each side edge margin of the front panel is directly or indirectly joined to the one of the side edge margins of the back panel. A bottom panel having a perimeter with a perimeter edge margin. The bottom panel is directly or indirectly joined at the perimeter edge margin of the bottom panel to the bottom edge margins of the front side panel and back side panels with a line of juncture such that the bottom edge of the front panel and the bottom edge of the back panel are non-linear when the bottom panel is fully expanded.

The first panel can have an outer periphery and an inner periphery and a first side and a second side. The dispensing window can be attached to the first side of the first panel. The dispensing window can have a dispensing aperture capable of allowing dispensing of an article through the dispensing aperture.

Abstract: A container including: a container top having a dispensing opening formed from a plurality of top flaps; a container bottom disposed opposite the container top formed from a plurality of bottom flaps; and a plurality of decorative panels forming a sidewall of the container having a continuous decorative surface. The plurality of decorative panels creating a continuous decorative surface that extends in side-fold continuity across the decorative panels except at an edge where two of the decorative panels are joined. As a result, there is more continuity of the decorative panels forming the sidewall and no sidewalls formed by glued together flaps. In this manner, there is less interruption of any graphics placed on the container's sidewall.

Abstract: Different embodiments for adapting a package, such as a tissue carton or wet wipes container, for placement into a cup holder or for being secured by a cup holder are disclosed. By adapting existing packages containing disposable articles to fit into a cup holder, the package can be kept securely in place in an automobile. By adapting the existing package design, existing packaging machinery can be used to produce the product.
