  • Patent number: 7530139
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus is comprised of an elongate handle and a cleaning head at one end of the handle. The cleaning head includes a pair of panels that can be moved relative to each other. The panels support a micro fiber cleaning pad. The cleaning pad can be released from the panels after use without manually touching the pad, thereby enabling disposal of a contaminated cleaning pad while reducing the potential for cross contamination to a user of the apparatus.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 26, 2005
Date of Patent: May 12, 2009
    Assignee: Continental Commerical Products LLC
Inventors: Duane Niemeyer, Tom Dickinson, Harry Haggin, Greg Maes, Jon Akin
  • Patent number: 7530578
Abstract: A novel construction of a stabilized receptacle is provided in which the receptacle is comprised of only seven separate component parts that are assembled together without the use of separate threaded fasteners. In addition, the receptacle is provided with a stabilizing hoop that extends forwardly from the receptacle around the foot pedal of the receptacle and stabilizes the receptacle, preventing movement of the receptacle when the foot pedal is depressed.

  • Patent number: 6053354
Abstract: A container comprises a container body, a rearward lid component, a forward lid component and a handle. The container body has a bottom, first and second side walls extending upwardly from the bottom, and first and second end walls extending upwardly from the bottom. The side walls and end walls define a mouth of the container. The rearward lid component is adapted for covering a rearward portion of the mouth. The forward lid component is hingedly attached to the rearward lid component by a first hinge assembly for pivoting movement of the forward lid component relative to the rearward lid component about a first hinge axis. The forward lid component is adapted for covering a forward portion of the mouth. The handle is connected to the first end wall of the container body adjacent the mouth of the container. The handle extends generally along a handle axis.
