Abstract: A flexographic printing plate (80) having register marks (82) thereon is supported on the surface (16) of a support table (15) which is capable of being rotated about a central vertical axis. The register marks are viewed by an optical viewer television camera (84) and displayed on a video screen (28) on which are also projected sight marks (86, 87). The operator adjusts the rotational position of the table until the register marks on the plate align with the sight marks. The plate is then punched using a punch unit (24) to form a series of holes (89) in the plate (80) which defines a line either parallel or perpendicular to the axis of the images (81) on the plate. The punched plate is then laid on the top surface of a mounting table (91) of a mounting unit (90) and pins (93) are inserted through the holes in the plate into holes (92) in the table surface.

Abstract: A coupon structure (10) having a base sheet (12) having upper and under sides (14, 16). The base sheet (12) is adapted to be substantially nonreleasably adhered by its underside (16) to a selected mounting surface (20). A removable top sheet (18) is releasably adhered to the upper side (14) of the base sheet (12) by a substantially transparent layer of dry residue adhesive (24). Consequently, the top sheet (18) can be removed to leave a non-tacky base sheet (12). The base sheet may be transparent, allowing the mounting surface (20) to be observed therethrough substantially without visual obstruction. The removed top sheet (18) is dry, non-tacky, and visually unobstructed by adhesive residue on both sides thereof. The base sheet (12) may be releasably mounted on a backing web (30) for convenient storage until used.

Abstract: Doctor blade apparatus having a mounting plate rigidly holding the blade. The doctor blade mounting plate is independently slidably and pivotably mounted by a ball-bearing on each of a plurality of spaced support ports and resiliently supported thereon by compression springs. The apparatus allows movement of the mounting plate and the blade carried thereby in several degrees of freedom with adjustment means providing independent adjustment at each of the supporting posts.
