  • Patent number: 6817588
Abstract: A port replicator and a resilient piece used therein. The resilient piece is disposed in the port replicator supporting a portable computer, and comprises a body and an abutting member. The body includes a first portion and a second portion integrally formed with the first portion. The first portion includes a first end connecting with the second portion and a second end opposite the first end. The second end is fixedly disposed in the port replicator. The second portion includes a third end connecting with the first portion and a fourth end opposite the third end. A cross section of the second portion is substantially Z-shaped. The fourth end is fixedly disposed in the port replicator. The abutting member is disposed on the third end and protrudes from the port replicator to abut the portable computer supported by the port replicator. Thus, electromagnetic interference generated from the portable computer is dissipated.

  • Publication number: 20040139581
Abstract: A rotation hinge module with angular fixing structure is employed to connect a mainframe and a display module of a notebook computer. The rotation hinge module has a support base, an elastic means, a steel ball, a ball cover, and a rotation top. The support base mounted on the mainframe has at least a support structure. The elastic means located in the support base supports the steel ball. The ball cover has a hole smaller than the steel ball. The steel ball is exposed to fit in the slot in the rotation top in order to provide an angular fixing function.

  • Patent number: 6760217
Abstract: A port replicator. The port replicator includes a housing, a transmission assembly, and a lift assembly. The transmission assembly, disposed in the housing, includes an engaging portion and a push unit. The push unit is moveably disposed on the housing. The engaging portion protrudes from the housing when the push unit is located at a first position. The engaging portion moves toward the housing when the push unit moves to a second position. The lift assembly, including a separation unit, is disposed in the housing in a manner such that it moves along with the transmission assembly. The separation unit is moveably disposed on the housing. The push unit moves to the second position to move the separation unit to a fourth position when the push unit is located in the first position and the separation unit is located at a third position.
