    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for implementing communication between different networks, where the method includes: receiving a multicast data obtaining request supporting a first network protocol, and determining multicast data identity information (MDID) of multicast data that needs to be obtained; obtaining, according to the MDID, in a multicast manner and from a network device supporting a second network protocol, the multicast data that needs to be obtained, and buffering the multicast data that needs to be obtained; establishing, for the multicast data that needs to be obtained, a multicast group supporting the first network protocol; and sending the multicast data that needs to be obtained by a user apparatus to the user apparatus which joins the multicast group supporting the first network protocol.

The method includes: obtaining a DAD-NS message; comparing the obtained DAD-NS message with locally stored DAD information, and adding the DAD-NS information to the locally stored DAD information when it is determined, according to a comparison result, that the IP address to be detected is not duplicate; when it cannot be determined whether the IP address to be detected is duplicate or not, initiating, according to the address information included in the locally stored DAD information after comparison, an unreachability detection to the IP address to be detected to determine whether the IP address to be detected is duplicate. The apparatus includes: an obtaining module, a storing module, and a processing module. The system includes: an apparatus of DAD proxy and an access device.

    Abstract: A user access method, system, access server, and access device are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes: receiving an access request including user information and path information; and binding the user information and the path information and saving the bound information; where the path information includes information about more than one intermediate device; and the user information is added to the access request by a terminal device, the information about the more than one intermediate device is added to the access device by the intermediate device. According to embodiments of the present invention, the received access request includes the user information and path information, and the user information and the path information are bound and saved. In this way, a network manager can locate a specific user according to the bound user information and path information, and determine information about an entire path.

    Abstract: A method for transmitting data packets and a corresponding converter are disclosed. The method includes: receiving a packet, which is sent by a source host using a Path Maximum Transmission Unit (PMTU) value supported by the source host as a Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) value; sending an error information with a PMTU value of a translator to the source host if the PMTU value of the translator is smaller than the packet sent by the source host; receiving a packet, which is resent by the source host using a redetermined PMTU value as the MTU value, and sending the packet resent by the source host to a destination host; wherein the redetermined PMTU value is determined according to the PMTU value of the translator. The embodiments of the present invention ensure the maximum throughput of the network in the network transmission process, prevent packet loss, and improve the data transmission performance.
