In each of the antenna systems, an antenna module includes a radiation plate and a radiation device for transmitting and receiving radio signals for a mobile communication service, a sensor unit senses the inclination and horizontal rotation of the antenna module, a transceiver transmits data sensed by the sensor unit to the remote control system and receives a control signal from the remote control system, and a controller controls an operation of the antenna system according to the remote control signal received from the transceiver.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a tower top amplifier directly and detachably attached and electrically connected to an antenna of a base station for mobile communication. The tower top amplifier includes a tower top amplifying unit (20) connected to an antenna unit (10), and a connecting unit (30) provided on one surface of the antenna unit (10) for connecting the tower top amplifying unit (20) and the antenna unit (10). The tower top amplifying unit (20) is directly attached and electrically connected to the antenna unit (10) without any cable, thereby causing the tower top amplifier to be simply assembled and disassembled. The tower top amplifier does not require the cable exposed to the outside, thus having an aesthetic appearance. The tower top amplifying unit (20) having the same shape as that of the antenna unit (10) is detachably attached to the antenna unit (10), thereby being formed integrally with the antenna unit(10).

A second signal combiner/distributor is connected to a subsystem duplexer through a fifth port and the antenna through an eighth port, distributes a signal received through the fifth port to sixth and seventh ports, combines the signals received through the sixth and seventh ports according to the phases of the signals, and provides the combined signal through the fifth or eighth port. Variable filters are provided in signal paths between the first and second signal combiner/distributors.

Microstrip-slot line coupling takes place between the microstrip line and the slot line even during rotation. Both ends of the microstrip line are connected to an output port of the variable phase shifter and the slot line is electrically connected to an input port of the variable phase shifter, for receiving an input signal.
