  • Patent number: 11597613
Abstract: A feeder arrangement for a slurry transport system, which is preferably a hydro hoist, includes a chamber with a high pressure water inlet, a low pressure water outlet, and a low pressure solids inlet at a top end. The low pressure solids inlet has a transfer chute that opens into a lower section of the chamber to maintain a clear-water environment adjacent the top end. A high pressure solids and water outlet is provided at a bottom end. The inlets and outlets are controlled by suitable valves. Three such chambers are preferably operated together in sequence between incoming and outgoing columns in a mine.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 2, 2019
Date of Patent: March 7, 2023
Assignee: HYDRO POWER EQUIPMENT (PTY) LTD.

  • Patent number: 10888854
Abstract: Catalytic compositions comprising permethylpentalene based metallocene complexes supported on solid methylaluminoxane are disclosed. The compositions are effective catalysts/initiators in the polymerisation of olefins. Also disclosed are uses of the compositions in olefin polymerisation.
    Type: Grant

Inventors: Dermot O'Hare, Jean-Charles Buffet, Zoe Turner, Duncan Fraser
  • Publication number: 20190283008
Abstract: Bimetallic catalytic compounds and compositions comprising permethylpentalene ligands, as well as their methods of preparation, are described. The catalytic compounds and compositions are promising catalysts in olefin (e.g. ethylene) polymerisation reactions.

  • Publication number: 20100011422
Abstract: A method of providing portable account information includes associating two accounts (10, 11) and retrieving the details of one account (15) using the identifier of the other. An embodiment of the invention provides management of the association between a user's avatar account 10 and various client applications (11), e.g. for instant messaging or community websites. In addition to management of this association, the invention also handles the diverse login and authentication (12) needs of avatar accounts and the various supported client applications. Rather than have a different avatar for each application, the invention allows the user to have a single avatar account which they can associate (13) with each of the client applications that they use to render (16) and update (17) the avatar. Thus, the user can travel between client applications (11) with a portable digital identity.

  • Patent number: 6575741
Abstract: The present invention provides an intra-oral anchorage which comprises a flexible belt that extends around and between the teeth of a patient. The belt has locking means fixed thereon to receive a free end portion of the belt and lock said portion against retraction therefrom. The locking means is in the form of a buckle. The intra-oral anchorage of the present invention can be used to hold a jaw in a fixed position, in the case of a broken jaw for example. It offers ease of application and therefore a reduction in the cost of surgery as well as eliminating the risk of “needle stick” injury inherent with cutting and bending multiple ends of wire. It causes less gum damage in placement and removal, which is similarly easier, faster and less uncomfortable for the patient.
