  • Publication number: 20210357533
Abstract: The field of deep fakes is a growing problem in a variety of areas. The disclosed systems and methods are used to check the integrity of video in both the signal and the time domains. The validity of the signal domain is checked through a unique signature generation of each frame at the point of video creation, and subsequently, signature checking. Validation of the time domain is accomplished by interleaving portions of the current frame into the following frame. Also included in the disclosure are hardware and network architecture which may be used for creation, validation, and content distribution.

  • Publication number: 20210360007
Abstract: A method selectively installs a particular signature on a particular gateway based on the type of signature and the type of computer asset that is protected by that particular gateway. A system and/or analyst receives multiple signatures, where different signatures from the multiple signatures are specific for different types of computer assets. The system and/or analyst identifies and extracts a particular signature, from the multiple signatures, that will protect, if implemented on the appropriate gateway, a particular computer asset. The system and/or analyst identifies the appropriate gateway that protects the particular computer asset, and installs only the extracted particular signature from the multiple signatures on that appropriate gateway.

  • Patent number: 11175944
Abstract: Techniques for optimizing cluster-wide operations in a hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) deployment are provided. In one set of embodiments, a computer system can receive a request to initiate a cluster-wide operation on a cluster of the HCI deployment, where the cluster includes a plurality of host systems, and where the cluster-wide operation involves a host-by-host evacuation of virtual machines (VMs) and storage components from the plurality of host systems. The computer system can further generate a set of recommendations for executing the host-by-host evacuation in a manner that minimizes the total amount of time needed to complete the cluster-wide operation. The computer system can then execute the host-by-host evacuation in accordance with the set of recommendations.

  • Publication number: 20210352380
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for transforming audio-video data includes automatically detecting substantially all discrete human-perceivable messages encoded in the audio-video data, determining a semantic encoding for each of the detected messages, assigning a time code to each of the encodings correlated to specific frames of the audio-video data, and recording a data structure relating each time code to a corresponding one of the semantic encodings in a recording medium. The method may further include converting extracted recorded vocal instances from the audio-video data into a text data, generating a dubbing list comprising the text data and the time code, assigning a set of annotations corresponding to the one or more vocal instances specifying one or more creative intents, generating the scripting data comprising the dubbing list and the set of annotations, and other optional operations. An apparatus may be programmed to perform the method by executable instructions for the foregoing operations.

  • Publication number: 20210352437
Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with control circuitry, wireless transceiver circuitry, and a display. The control circuitry may determine where nearby devices are located relative to the electronic device. When a wireless communications link is established with a nearby device, the control circuitry may use the display to inform a user of the status of the wireless communications link and the location of the nearby device. The display may produce images such as a line extending in the direction of the nearby device. The line may move on the display in response to movement of the nearby device. In an environment with multiple devices that are in range for wireless communications, the display may show a notification for each nearby device. The location and size of each notification on the display may be based on the location and proximity of the nearby device.
