Abstract: The invention relates to the systemic insecticide fipronil in conjunction with a rodenticide used for manufacture of a bait composition to provide a lethal effect on fleas and/or ticks and a host rodent, following ingestion of the bait composition by the host rodent. Preferred rodenticides are brodifacoum, difethialone, flocoumafen, bromadiolone and mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to rodenticidal bait compositions and to a method of killing ticks and a host rodent by providing for ingestion to the rodent, a bait composition comprising an effective amount of a rodenticide and an acaricidally effective amount of fipronil.

Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions comprising one or more anthraquinones for use in the treatment of obesity and related metabolic and liver disease. More particularly it relates to a plant extract fraction rich in anthraquinones including both anthraquinone glycosides and anthraquinone aglycones obtainable from a member of the Leguminosae family, more particularly Cassia seeds. It also relates to a method of obtaining a plant extract fraction rich in anthraquinones.

The apparatus consists of a plurality of pitot-static probes. The plurality of pitot-static probes generate a first data. The apparatus also consists of a plurality of angle of attack sensor systems. The plurality of angle of attack sensor systems generate a second data. The apparatus also consists of a plurality of light detection and ranging sensors. The light detection and ranging sensors generates a third data. The apparatus also consists of a signal consolidation system configured to detect errors in the first data generated by the plurality of pitot-static probes, the second data generated by the plurality of angle of attack sensor systems, and the third data generated by the plurality of light detection and ranging sensors.

Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method are directed towards allowing ingestion of encrypted content into such as a VOD server, or PVR, or the like by selectively encrypting portions of a content stream based on various selection rules. In one embodiment, the selection rules include leaving selected portions of the content stream unencrypted, including packets that include a PES header; or video packets that include various trick play data such as picture start, GOP start, sequence start, sequence end data; PIDs associated with a PAT, PMT, or the like; while other portions of the content stream may be encrypted, including video and/or audio PIDs, or other video and/or audio portions. In still another embodiment, Entitlement Control Messages (ECMs) may be inserted that employ an encryption/decryption key rotation scheme, such as odd and/or even scrambling control bit structures, which may also be rotated based on a variety of conditions.

The system can include components that quantify an absence of protocol data units, ascertain whether a number of absent protocol data units exceeds the size of a transmission side grant, insert a sequence number associated with a first absent protocol data unit into an acknowledgement sequence number field associated with a partial status report, incorporates the sequence number associated with the first absent protocol data unit in the partial status report, includes sequence numbers of subsequent absent protocol data units into the partial status report without exceeding the transmission side grant, and sends the partial status report to the base station.

Abstract: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate selecting an uplink carrier for random access within a wireless environment having multiple carriers. Selection of an uplink carrier for random access can be randomly selected from a set of available uplink carriers. Additionally, the uplink carrier for random access can be selected based upon which uplink carrier is paired with an anchor carrier. Further, the uplink carrier for random access can be identified based upon a bandwidth related to the user equipment (UE). Reference signals can also be employed in order to identify an uplink carrier to perform random access.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method tracks diffusion. The method includes receiving a tracking request from an initiating user to track diffusion of content located at a content address. A computer tracking system generates a first shortened content address for the content address, from which the content is provided to the initiating user. The method includes receiving content requests from one or more requesting users, and generating, for each requesting user, a unique subsequent shortened content address for the content address. Content is provided to each requesting user using the subsequent shortened content address generated for each requesting user respectively. Each content request from the requesting users is made using either the first shortened content address or one of the subsequent shortened content addresses.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention include a self-powered infuser with a medicament containing vessel coupled to the infuser capable of exerting sufficient pressure to cause a medicament to flow from the containing vessel, through intravenous tubing, and into a patient's circulatory system. The infuser and vessel may be contained within a sealable kit which may have a separate container for perishable medications such that the medications may be inspected and changed without exposing the remainder of the kit's contents. The infuser may be recyclable or disposable.
