  • Publication number: 20240160264
Abstract: A method for resetting a baseboard management controller (BMC) and a power management system are provided. The power management system includes two or more power management controllers (PMCs). Each of the PMCs includes a BMC. One of the two or more PMCs severs as a master device and remaining of the two or more PMCs sever as one or more slave devices communicated with the master device. The method includes: generating a reset command by the master device when a first condition is met. Then the master device determines a target bus and transmits the reset command to the target slave device through the target bus. The target slave device obtains the reset command through the target bus, and resets the BMC of the target slave device, in response to the reset command.

  • Patent number: 11970064
Abstract: A multi-motor switching system and method for obtaining a global optimization of performance criteria that takes into account variables and conditions across an entire driving cycle. The controller of the system is adapted to conduct a global optimization in that it determines the most optimal distribution of motor loads over an entire trip or driving cycle, as opposed to sequentially determining the optimized solution for a given point of time and localized set of current condition. In one embodiment where the control system provides for global optimization, the controller receives trip information through a trip planning tool. The controller utilizes the trip information to generate a driving cycle and further incorporates this information into the optimization process performed by the controller to determine the optimal solution for the entire trip.

  • Publication number: 20240137764
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may attempt to access an edge data network. The UE generates a first credential based on a second credential that was generated for a procedure between the UE and a network. The UE then generates an identifier corresponding to the first credential and generates a message authentication code based on the first credential and a count, wherein the count is associated with an identifier of an edge network client running on the UE. The UE then transmits an application registration request, message to a server associated with an edge data network, the application registration request message including the count, the message authentication code, the identifier corresponding to the first credential, and a public land mobile network identifier (PLMN ID) of the network. The UE then receives an authentication accept message or an authentication reject message from the server associated with the edge data network.

  • Publication number: 20240049358
Abstract: The present disclosure distributes processing capabilities throughout different nodes in a wireless network. Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure increase the efficiency of communications in a wireless network because they help minimize the need to forward communications to other nodes in the network. Apparatus and methods consistent with the present disclosure perform a function of elastic content filtering because rating information may be stored in different memories of different mesh nodes according to rules or profiles associated with a wireless mesh network as responses to requests are sent back along a route in a wireless mesh network in a manner that may not increase an amount of network traffic. When, however, network traffic dips below a threshold level, additional messages may be sent to certain mesh nodes that update rating information stored at those certain mesh nodes.
