Abstract: A method and system for sending email. The method and system can include the drafting of an email on an interface and the sending of an email to an intended recipient via a server. If the recipient receives or opens the email, a delivered or read receipt may be transmitted to the sender of the email. If the recipient does not receive or open the email, a message may be mailed via a party maintaining the server. The message may contain information about the email and may have its associated delivery fees charged to the original sender of the email.

Abstract: A method and system for signing or notarizing a document. The method and system can include a first party having a document that they wish to have signed and notarized. The document may then be scanned and entered into a database. The document may then be viewed by a first agent located at a facility physically proximate the first party who can then send the notification to a second party that is to sign the document and may have it notarized. The second party, upon receiving the notification, may proceed to a second location physically proximate to the second party. Upon arriving at the second location, the second party may verify their identity to a second agent located at the second location and may proceed to electronically sign the document and have it notarized by the second agent. The document may then be printed with the signatures and notary seal at the first location and given back to the first party.

Abstract: A method and system for voting are disclosed. The method and system can include a voting terminal that may display an electronic ballot. The electronic ballot may contain some voting data and a voter may input voting or selection data into the electronic ballot using a computer peripheral device. A copy of the electronic ballot may be printed and a voter may substantially simultaneously sign the printed copy of the ballot and the electronic copy of the ballot.

Abstract: A method and system for certifying the identity of a party. The method and system may include a first party transmitting an electronic message that is ultimately intended for a second party to an identity verifying party. The identity verifying body may use data contained in the electronic message to transmit the message to a distribution center geographically proximately located to the second party. A delivery person associated with the distribution center may then deliver the message to the second party and obtain identification data, which may be relayed back to the first party. Additionally, the method and system may be used to disseminate mass mailings through both electronic and traditional mail.
