  • Patent number: 12295815
Abstract: A method of manufacturing zoned webs can include providing a substrate and transferring the substrate in a machine direction. The method can include modifying the substrate to include a plurality of lanes to provide a modified substrate. The plurality of lanes can include a first lane and a second lane. The first lane can include a first zone and a second zone. The first zone can include an open area greater than an open area of the second zone. The second lane can include a third zone and a fourth zone. The third zone can include an open area greater than an open area of the fourth zone. The first lane and the second lane can be formed such that the first zone in the first lane is staggered in the machine direction from the third zone in the second lane. The method can also include slitting the modified substrate between adjacent lanes in the plurality of lanes to provide zoned webs.

  • Patent number: 9125800
Abstract: An indicator assembly for use with a non-vascular catheter device. The indicator assembly includes: a first retainer secured to a catheter tube, the first retainer being an indwelling retainer which is deployed within a non-vascular lumen or cavity of the body; a second retainer secured to the catheter tube, the second retainer deployed outside the human body; and an indicator located outside the body on the catheter tube between the first retainer and the second retainer. The first retainer and the second retainer are configured to maintain substantially the same position with respect to each other on the tube and the indicator is configured to signal a change in position with respect to either the first or the second retainer, thereby indicating a change in the length of a stoma.

  • Publication number: 20120152289
Abstract: A container for sterilizing and storing surgical materials and preserving surgical materials in a sterilized condition is disclosed herein. The container includes a lid, liner and in many embodiments, a frame. The lid and liner are desirably disposable and recyclable after a single use while the frame should be reusable many times. The liner and optionally the lid is substantially transparent so that a user can inspect the instruments while the container is closed without compromising the sterile nature of the inside of the container.
