  • Patent number: 11662058
Abstract: An orthotic device is coupleable to a fastener installation tool and is configured to be worn on an appendage of a user of the fastener installation tool. The orthotic device is configurable between a relaxed state and a rigid state, and includes at least one activation component responsive to an activation signal output by a controller in communication with the fastener installation tool. The at least one activation component changes the orthotic device from the relaxed state to the rigid state in response to operation of the fastener installation tool.

  • Patent number: 10865050
Abstract: A manufacturing process switch with a housing consisting of a first member and a second member. The first member is rotatable from a closed position to an open position. A proximity sensor is secured to the housing that detects the proximity of the first member to the second member and generates a signal when the first member is in the open position. An engagement device is secured to the housing for retaining the first member to the second member in the closed position. A cable attachment mechanism is attached to the first member of the housing and securable to a cable of a tool. The first member is rotatable from the closed position to the open position when a breakaway force is applied to the cable attachment mechanism. The manufacturing process is stopped when the first member is in the open position.

  • Patent number: 10807809
Abstract: An end plate for a conveyor system is described. In one embodiment, a conveyor system includes an endless conveyor belt turned about rollers between an entrance end and an exit end, and an end plate disposed at one end of the belt facing towards a direction of motion of the belt. The end plate includes a plate body including a plurality of projecting members extending from one end of the plate body. The end plate also includes a plurality of finger elements disposed over the plurality of projecting members. Each finger element of the plurality of finger elements includes a slot on a back side of the finger element that is configured to receive a projecting member of the plurality of projecting members. The plurality of projecting members and the plurality of finger elements are configured to face towards the belt.

  • Patent number: 10737888
Abstract: A safety switch mechanism for use on a conveyor system includes a lever adapted for pivotal attachment to a non-moving part of the conveyor system. A non-contact safety switch has a first switch part attached the lever and a second switch part fixed relative to the lever. The safety switch has an open position where the first switch part is angularly offset from the second switch part relative to a lever pivot axis and a closed position where the first switch part is aligned with the second switch part. A trigger block is adapted for attachment to a moving part of the conveyor system. The lever is configured as a pendulum and in an equilibrium position of the lever the safety switch is in the open position. The trigger block is configured to contact and pivot the lever moving the safety switch from the open position to the closed position.

  • Patent number: 10240629
Abstract: A hook for lifting a component includes a hook body and a latch. The hook body includes a coupling portion having an elongate aperture defined therein for receiving at least a portion of a chain, and an engaging portion extending from the coupling portion, the engaging portion defining a hook opening sized for receiving a first portion of the component therein. The latch is pivotably coupled to the coupling portion and pivotable between a first position and a second position relative to the hook body. The latch occludes the hook opening in the second position. The latch defines a chain aperture that is aligned with the elongate aperture such that the portion of the chain extends through each of the elongate aperture and the chain aperture and causes the latch to pivot between the first and second positions in response to a load being applied to the hook.
