  • Patent number: 5885116
Abstract: An electrical connector for securing an electrical connection between a conductor and a wire or cable, comprises a first plate, a second plate below the first plate, a hinge attaching the rear portion of the first plate to the rear portion of the second plate, and a wire securing means attached to one of the plates. The first and second plates have tabs attached to their forward portions, and each plate has at least one hole therethrough, the holes being sized to receive a conductor. The hinge allows the forward portion of the second plate to be moved relative to the forward portion of the first plate. Means are provided for biasing the two plates to a closed position, where the holes on the first and second plates are not aligned. In the open position, the holes are aligned. When a conductor is extended through the holes in the open position, the bias means biases the plates toward the closed position to firmly retain the conductor.

  • Patent number: 5833497
Abstract: An electrical connector for use with a fuse holding block and a fuse body having conductive contact blades. The electrical connector is an elongated conductive thin member having a shoulder adjacent a first end, an integral tab positioned between the shoulder and the other end, the tab extending at an angle, and a fuse blade contact portion extending from the other end. The thin member is removably attachable to the fuse body with (i) the fuse blade contact portion being in abutting contact with a fuse blade, (ii) an end of the tab being positioned in a channel of the fuse body and abutting a shoulder means of the channel, and (iii) the shoulder of the thin member abutting a top surface of the fuse body head portion.

  • Patent number: 5775963
Abstract: A male-type terminal end portion comprising a relatively thin, flat metal strip having two sides and a proximal end and a plurality of longitudinally spaced apart indentations extending along the longitudinal axis to the proximal end. The indentations have a preselected depth to thus form an effective thickness equal to the sum of the preselected depth and preselected thickness of the metal strip.

  • Patent number: 4579358
Abstract: An improved apparatus is provided for holding spooled wire. Several shelves are mounted on a wheeled cart. Each shelf has numerous apertures adapted to hold spindles. The spindles are adapted to hold and facilitate the turning of heavy spools of wire. A wire guide is mounted on the edge of each shelf. Numerous spools can be placed in staggered rows on a single shelf thereby making it practical to have immediate access to numerous insulation colors for each gauge of wire.
