  • Publication number: 20040011350
Abstract: A heating vessel comprises a chamber having enclosed sides, a thermally conductive bottom end and a top end forming an opening for the introduction and extraction of contents to be heated, the bottom end having an external bottom side. A heater comprises a heat exchanger and a heat source having a heat outlet disposed at a fixed distance from the external bottom side and configured to deliver heat to a central area thereof. The heat exchanger includes a series of thermally conductive radially disposed fins are coupled circumferentially about the central area of the external bottom side, the fins extending for a fixed distance to encase the heat outlet. • Patent number: 6363392
Abstract: A method and system for providing a flexible, web-sharable database with proximity searching capability. A processor receives data from a remote source. A database manager assembles the data into a database dynamically conforming to the form of the data received. An address extraction extracts addressing information from the data received and supplies the addressing information to a geocoder. The geocoder generates a geocode corresponding to the addressing information and associates the geocode with the addressing information.

  • Publication number: 20010011270
Abstract: A method and apparatus for improving searching capability on a Web. At index time, a Web page is spidered and the text and metatags returned to a processor. The processor extracts spatial information from the text and metatags. A geocode is generated for the spatial information. The geocode is then indexed along with the remaining contents of the page. A subsequent query during query time can search for entries based on proximity to a known location using the indexed geocode.
