The alignment clip consists of a base, an alignment clip element having at least one tab, a spring operatively associated with the base and the alignment clip element and screws which engage screw holes in the alignment clip element. The alignment clip is disposed within a window frame which is designed to hold window sashes. The tabs or the screws or both tabs and screws provide a method of adjusting a window assembly in a window receiving opening.
