Abstract: A system for removal of water from a hydrocarbon fluid in a tank having a weight support body structured to hold a filter therein. The filter includes a super-absorbent hydrophilic, oleophobic substance bound with a medium. The support body structure is a porous ball. A line is connected to the support body structure so as to extend outwardly of the opening of the tank. A handle is attached to an end of the line opposite the support body structure.

The support body is telescopic with perforations formed thereon so as to allow hydrocarbon fluid to encounter the filter.
