  • Publication number: 20230280969
Abstract: Inputs configuring a GUI to concurrently display a first On-Air display region (FOADR) and a second On-Air display region (SOADR) are received. The FOADR and SOADR each include: a station selector; a media ID area; and at least one play control associated with corresponding media ID areas. The station selectors in the FOADR and SOADR receive input specifying selected media stations. The media ID areas in the FOADR and SOADR are populated with IDs of media items to be aired on the selected media stations. Airing of media items by the selected media stations is controlled using the play controls included in the FOADR and SOADR.

  • Patent number: 11693618
Abstract: A graphical user interface (GUI) includes a first display region including a first Station Selector object and multiple first sub-regions displayed within the first display region. First user input, entered using the first Station Selector object is received, where the first user input identifies a first media station. In response to receiving the first user input, the first sub-regions are automatically populated with first information associated with first media provided by the first media station. At some later time, second user input is received via the same Station Selector object, where the second user input identifies a second media station, and the first information displayed in the first sub-regions is automatically replaced with second information associated with second media presented via the second media station in response to receiving the second user input identifying the second media station.

  • Patent number: 10976987
Abstract: A Graphical User Interface (GUI) allows a user to control multiple media streams at the same time. A user can display and configure multiple regions of the GUI to display information about, and control broadcast properties of, multiple media streams being broadcast at the same time. Multiple display regions of the same type can be displayed at the same time. The GUI is also highly customizable, allowing a user to configure multiple different display regions, each displaying information and controls useful for performing functions related to the type of display region. The information displayed in each region can be selected from a single media stream, or from different media streams.

  • Patent number: 7256532
Abstract: A method and apparatus attains high voltage gain by using a composite structure of an elastic section of piezoelectric layers bonded between magnetic and electric sections of magnetostrictive layers, with a harmonic magnetic field being applied along the layers at a mechanical resonance frequency of the composite structure, through coils around the laminate carrying current, such as to produce a continuity of both magnetic and electric flux lines, and achieving a high voltage output.

  • Patent number: 6761678
Abstract: A rotary blade folder includes two fold rollers and a folding cylinder, the folding cylinder including a cylinder body with an outer surface, a set of tucking blades and an expansion plate adjustable to change an effective diameter of the folding cylinder. The expansion plate has at least one aperture, the set of tucking blades fitting through the at least one aperture during a tucking operation so as to present a fold in a signature to the two fold rollers. Also provided is a method of folding a signature comprising the steps of gripping a signature about a folding cylinder so that the signature is over an expansion plate of the folding cylinder, the expansion plate having at least one aperture, and folding the signature by passing tucking blades through the at least one aperture.

  • Patent number: 6301876
Abstract: This invention provides a noble gas storage and delivery system for ion propulsion using an adsorption bed coupled with a primary storage vessel containing compressed gas or two-phase fluid to control the flow and pressure to a thruster component. The adsorption bed component is lighter weight than conventional flow and pressure control devices, and the system can provide in situ gas cleanup and stable flow from two-phase storage. The use of the adsorption bed allows for independent and isolated operation of multiple thruster components such as refill from the primary storage vessel, throttling, and multiple setpoint flow rates. The pressure and flow is controlled using a flow restrictor and low wattage heat. Flow rates of about 2-50 sccm can be controlled to within about 1.2% or less, and the flow can be throttled by varying the pressure. This noble gas storage and delivery system can be used for earth orbit satellites, and lunar or planetary space missions.

  • Patent number: 6286304
Abstract: A method and system for storing and delivering a noble gas for an ion propulsion system where an adsorbent bearing a noble gas is heated within a storage vessel to desorb the noble gas which is then flowed through a pressure reduction device to a thruster assembly. The pressure and flow is controlled using a flow restrictor and low wattage heater which heats an adsorbent bed containing the noble gas propellant at low pressures. Flow rates of 5-60 sccm can be controlled to within about 0.5% or less and the required input power is generally less than 50 W. This noble gas storage and delivery system and method can be used for earth orbit satellites, and lunar or planetary space missions.

  • Patent number: 5922926
Abstract: A method and system decomposes or immobilizes organic wastes using a metal alloy agent comprised of at least two metals selected from transition metals, alkaline metal and/or and rare earth metals. The method first uses hydrogen and oxygen, with and without mechanical agitation, to decrepitate and activate the metal alloy powders. The organic waste compounds are then introduced to the activated metal alloys. This method of decomposing organic materials effectively destroys organic compounds which contain halogens, sulfur, phosphorous, oxygen, and higher order bonds.

  • Patent number: 5868937
Abstract: A process and system recycles and reuses gray water generated by dishwashers, showers, carwashes, and clothes washers while maintaining the same cleaning performance as current systems. Hollow-fiber membrane ultrafiltration is used to reduce fresh water supply demands and gray water generation where voluminous quantities of the latter are generated. For a clothes washer, the gray water reuse or recycle system consists of a closed-loop water recycle which can be redirected to a storage tank for other applications, or directly used in situ with a clothes washer for subsequent rinse cycles. The process uses, at a minimum, 50% less water than conventional residential and commercial washers, and also decreases detergent requirements by 30% because a portion of the rinse water can be re-used for subsequent wash cycles.
