Abstract: An imaging manifold suitable for use in imaging devices such as electrostatic machines, ink jet, thermal transfer, and similar devices. Preferred imaging manifolds include a transparent, polymeric sheet imageable in an imaging device, and attached thereto, an opaque member underlying and in register with the transparent sheet. The opaque member is adhered to the transparent polymeric sheet by an electrostatic charge.

Abstract: An image recording sheet comprising a substrate having an imaging surface and an opposing surface, the opposing surface having coated thereon a feed facilitation layer comprising a copolymer formed from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of bicyclic alkyl (meth) acrylates, aliphatic alkyl (meth)acrylates having from one to 12 carbon atoms, aromatic (meth)acrylates, and a polar monomer having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or methyl, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be hydrogen, identical or differing alkyl groups having up to 8 carbon atoms, preferably up to 2 carbon atoms, or the quaternary cationic salts thereof, at least one long chain polymeric particle having good antifriction characteristics and optionally, an antistatic agent selected from the group consisting of cationic agents, anionic agents, fluorinated agents, and nonionic agents.

Abstract: A sheet of imageable film for use in an overhead projector is provided with at least one, and preferably two, opaque flaps attached in a foldable manner to the film so that the flaps may be unfolded to prevent unwanted light from shining past the edges of the transparency.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for centrifugal casting in which the support for the rotating permanent or semi-permanent molds is so constructed and arranged as to insure long life for the bearings which support the rotating parts of the mechanism. Also, the construction permits the rotating molds to be substantially enclosed by a housing so that water may be sprayed down onto the units during the casting operation without at the same time spraying the bearings or otherwise wetting the portions of the machinery required to be kept dry. Still further, the improved casting device comprises essentially three supporting shafts, one of which may be driven, so relatively located as to simultaneously support for rotating two molds, whereby two castings may be made from a supporting and driving shaft system powered by a single motor or the like.
