Publication number: 20220172577Abstract: A sportsbook odds optimization and parlay correlation analysis platform may be provided. The platform may be configured to assess the correlation value for proposition bet parlays. The platform may be employed by a sportsbooks or other betting event hosting establishment. The platform may be configured to establish parameters for processing at least one parlay offered to the establishment. The parameters may include, for example, but not be limited to, a correlation value and a payout type. Next, at least one parlay may be received for processing. A correlation value and a payout value associated with the at least one parlay may be calculated. The platform may be configured to determine whether to accept or decline the at least one parlay offering based on the parameters defined by the establishment. The at least one parlay may then be accepted or declined in accordance to the determination.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2022Publication date: June 2, 2022Inventors: David Adam Wexler, Jay Sudarshan Deuskar, Dylan Edward Cooper

Patent number: 10391751Abstract: A core-stiffened composite product has an interior core and layers of composite laminates sandwiched together about the core. The core-stiffened composite product includes at least one layer of adhesive film containing a visual target spatially scanned by an automated tracking system to produce a dimensionally corrected reference volume to collate successive layers of film as applied to the interior core. The visual target is positioned to assure an as-designed alignment of each applied layer of laminate onto the core to minimize cumulative tolerance build-ups during a laminate layering process. At least one layer of adhesive film remains within the completed composite product.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2016Date of Patent: August 27, 2019Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventors: Jeffrey Edward Polus, Dylan Edward Polus

Patent number: 9778837Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a mobile device that restricts access to its applications. The mobile device, displays, on the device's touch screen display, a lock screen page for accessing the device in a primary access mode or a secondary access mode. The primary access mode provides access to several of the device's applications, and the secondary access mode provides access to a limited set of the applications. The mobile device receives a touch input on the lock screen page to access the device in the secondary access mode. The mobile device unlocks the device to the secondary access mode by allowing access to the set of applications and restricting access to the remaining applications in the plurality of applications.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2013Date of Patent: October 3, 2017Assignee: APPLE INC.Inventors: Matthew E. Shepherd, Morgan Grainger, Dylan Edwards, Craig M. Federighi, Gregory N. Christie, Stephen O. Lemay, Martin Pedrick, Patrick L. Coffman

Publication number: 20170120373Abstract: A friction stir welding machine and a method of friction stir welding a workpiece are provided. In this regard, a friction stir welding machine is provided that includes a weld fixture comprising first and second arms configured to be positioned on opposite sides of a workpiece. The friction stir welding machine also includes a weld tool carried by the first arm of the weld fixture and configured to be inserted into and rotated relative to the workpiece. The friction stir welding machine further includes a rotatable anvil carried by the second arm of the weld fixture and configured to be positioned in cooperative engagement with the workpiece in an aligned relationship to the weld tool. The rotatable anvil is configured to react forces applied to the workpiece by the weld tool and to be rotated as the weld fixture is moved relative to the workpiece.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 3, 2015Publication date: May 4, 2017Inventor: Paul Dylan Edwards

Patent number: 9396369Abstract: In some embodiments, a seal is provided that includes an adhesive bottom layer, a non-adhesive top layer, and an electronic tag. The electronic tag can be positioned on or in the adhesive bottom layer or non-adhesive top layer or positioned in between the adhesive bottom layer and non-adhesive top layer. The electronic tag can include one or more processors and a computer-readable storage medium containing instructions, that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform actions. The actions can include detecting, at the electronic tag, a physical disturbance of the electronic tag and retrieving, at the electronic tag, stored data from a local memory. The actions can also include, responsive to the detection, facilitating transmission of a signal from the electronic tag that includes the retrieved data from a transmitter of the electronic tag to a device using radio frequency identification (RFID).Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2015Date of Patent: July 19, 2016Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Todd Whitehurst, Zachury Minjack, Zachery Kennedy, Dennis Park, Dylan Edwards, Anton Davydov
