  • Publication number: 20250032735
Abstract: Systems and methods involve determining one or more first measures of wellbeing of a user with sleep disordered breathing during an off period when the user is not adhering to a positive airway pressure therapy. The systems and methods also involve determining one or more second measures of the wellbeing of the user during an on period when the user is at least partially adhering to the positive airway pressure therapy. The systems and methods also involve presenting an indication to the user on how at least partially adhering to the positive airway pressure therapy improves the wellbeing of the user by comparing the one or more first measures to the one or more second measures.

  • Publication number: 20240390636
Abstract: A method is directed to controlling a sleep environment and includes providing a control system that is communicatively coupled to one or more sleep contributors. The control system is configured to adjust the one or more sleep contributors and monitor, via one or more sensors, a physical condition of the user that is indicative of a sleep state of the user. A change is detected in the physical condition that indicates onset of an initial sleep state of the user, in response to which at least one sleep contributor is automatically adjusted to begin inducing a deeper sleep state for the user. The inducing guides the user from the initial sleep state to a subsequent sleep state, without user conscious effort, the subsequent sleep state being associated with a deeper sleep for the user than the initial sleep state.

  • Publication number: 20240366911
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a first computing device, data associated with the sleep session. The method further includes transmitting a first portion of the data associated with the sleep session to a second computing device. The second computing device is configured to analyze the first portion of the data to generate an initial set of one or more stimuli to be applied to the individual during the sleep session. The method further includes receiving, at the first computing device, the initial set of one or more stimuli from the second computing device. The method further includes determining, by the first computing device, a final set of one or more stimuli to apply to the individual during the sleep session based at least in part on the initial set of one or more stimuli and a second portion of the data associated with the sleep session.

  • Publication number: 20240290466
Abstract: A method for sleep training includes recommending a default sleep pattern for a user based, at least in part, on crowd-sourced sleep data. The method further includes determining first sleep quality data for the user during one or more first sleep sessions subsequent to the recommending the default sleep pattern and with the user adopting the default sleep pattern in the one or more first sleep sessions. The method further includes identifying based, at least in part, on the first sleep quality data an optimum sleep pattern for the user. The method further includes providing direction to the user prior to, during, or any combination thereof one or more second sleep sessions to encourage the user to sleep in the optimum sleep pattern. The method also includes presenting a dashboard for the user that communicates how the optimum sleep pattern and the providing the direction have affected sleep.

  • Publication number: 20240207566
Abstract: A wearable air treatment system includes a user interface configured to be coupled about at least a portion of a face of a user. The wearable air treatment system also includes an air treatment module coupled to the user interface. The air treatment module in turn includes an air inlet configured to receive ambient air therethrough. A light source is positioned distal of the air inlet and is configured to emit light to treat at least a portion of the received ambient air. The air treatment module also includes an air outlet positioned distal of the light source. The air outlet is configured to direct at least a portion of the treated ambient air towards an interior of the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20230293097
Abstract: A method includes receiving a first value for each of a plurality of parameters, each of the first values being associated with a user and a first day. The method also includes receiving a second value for each of the plurality of parameters, each of the second values being associated with the user and a second day that is subsequent to the first day. The method also includes determining, for each of the plurality of parameters, a trend indication. The method also includes determining a base weight value for each of the plurality of parameters and multiple pairs of the plurality of parameters. The method also includes causing a message to be communicated to the user that is based at least in part on the determined base weight values.

  • Publication number: 20230274814
Abstract: A method for generating one or more custom messages for a user to aid in encouraging a behavioral response includes receiving physiological data associated with a user during a first time period, the first time period including at least one sleep session. The method further includes determining a first parameter associated with the user based on a first portion of the physiological data. The method further includes determining a second parameter associated with the user based on a second portion of the physiological data. The method further includes generating a custom message based on the determined first parameter and the determined second parameter to aid in encouraging a behavioral response, the custom message including information associated with the determined first parameter and information associated with the determined second parameter. The method further includes causing the custom message to be communicated to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230245780
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating and presenting a multi-component health score are disclosed. The health score can be generated from a set of weighted component scores each associated with a particular component being evaluated. Each component score can be generated based on a combination of first physiological data collected during a sleep session, second physiological data collected during a duration adjacent a sleep session, and subjected feedback data associated with the sleep session. Dynamic adjustments of weightings and presentation in a format indicating the contribution of each component to the total health score can facilitate good habits and healthy practices.

  • Publication number: 20230206486
Abstract: Detection of unintentional air leaks in a user interface (e.g., mask) of a respiratory therapy system (e.g., a positive air pressure device) is disclosed. One or more sensors (e.g., within a computing device, such as a smartphone) can be moved around relative to the user interface to determine a location and/or intensity of an air leak. The computing device can provide feedback regarding the location and/or intensity of the air leak to facilitate the user locating the air leak, and thus correcting the air leak. In some cases, augmented reality annotations can be overlaid on an image (e.g., live image) of the user wearing the user interface to identify the location of the air leak. The system can automatically detect the type of user interface being used and can provide tailored guidance for reducing the air leaks.
