  • Publication number: 20230121351
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to data extraction of complex documents and, more particularly, to systems, processes and computer program products configured to automatically extract unstructured data from complex documents and perform table understanding on the extracted data. For example, the method includes: detecting, by the computer system, one or more tables within a digitized document; classifying, by the computer system, the one or more detected tables into at least a first table type; identifying, by the computer system, headers within the first table type; extracting, by the computer system, data within the headers and body cells of the first table type; and mapping, by the computer system, a relationship between the extracted data within the headers and the body cells.

  • Patent number: 11618307
Abstract: A latch assembly for a tonneau cover. The latch assembly includes a button and a slider. The slider is movably coupled to the button. Movement of the button in a first direction causes the slider to move in an unlatching direction. Movement of the button in a second direction causes the slider to move in a latching direction.

  • Publication number: 20230092983
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing brain injury or brain malfunction involve receiving symptoms, assessments, social determinants of health, and substrates for evaluation, correlating that data to identify triggers, boosts, and changes in the patient, and notifying the patient or her caregiver of those triggers, boosts, and changes, in some cases via a dashboard display. Triggers cause changes for the worse for the patient, while boosts cause changes for the better. Certain instances marshal enormous amounts of evidence never correlated before in the recovery from trauma to the brain.

  • Patent number: 10526964
Abstract: Hydrogen gas compression systems that each include a multistage centrifugal compressor in which each stage has an inlet-to-outlet pressure rise ratio of about 1.20 or greater. In one embodiment, the multistage compressor includes six high-speed centrifugal compressors driven at a speed of about 60,000 rpm. The compressor has an output of more than 200,000 kg/day at a pressure of more than 1,000 psig. The compressors for the compression stages are distributed on both sides of a common gearbox, which has gearing that allows axial thrusts from the compressors to be handled effectively. Each stage's compressor has a unique impeller, which is secured to a support shaft using a tension-rod-based attachment system. In another embodiment, the multistage compressor is driven by a combustion turbine and one or more intercoolers are provided between compression stages. Each intercooler is cooled by coolant from an absorption chiller utilizing exhaust gas from the combustion turbine.

  • Publication number: 20170303658
Abstract: An implement for removing nail polish includes a container having a closed end, and an open end to a chamber for holding an amount of a liquid nail polish remover. A first pad is secured to the open end, is coupled fluidly to the chamber, and extends outwardly from the open end of the container to a first outer extremity. A second pad is secured to the closed end that isolates the second pad from the chamber, and extends outwardly from the closed end of the container to a second outer extremity. The first outer extremity is broad and round relative to the second outer extremity, which is comparatively narrow and blunt-pointed. The first pad has a first density and a first softness, and the second pad has a second density greater than the first density and a second softness less than the first softness.

  • Publication number: 20150322811
Abstract: A turbine-generator device for use in electricity generation using heat from industrial processes, renewable energy sources and other sources. The generator may be cooled by introducing into the gap between the rotor and stator liquid that is vaporized or atomized prior to introduction, which liquid is condensed from gases exhausted from the turbine. The turbine has a universal design and so may be relatively easily modified for use in connection with generators having a rated power output in the range of 50 KW to 5 MW. Such modifications are achieved, in part, through use of a modular turbine cartridge built up of discrete rotor and stator plates sized for the desired application with turbine brush seals chosen to accommodate radial rotor movements from the supported generator. The cartridge may be installed and removed from the turbine relatively easily for maintenance or rebuilding. The rotor housing is designed to be relatively easily machined to dimensions that meet desired operating parameters.
