  • Publication number: 20250147765
Abstract: A method of branch prediction includes determining that a processor is to execute at least a portion of a first set of instructions. An address associated with a sequentially first instruction of the first set of instruction is determined, and a branch prediction index is determined based on the address and a branch history. A table is queried based on the branch prediction index to determine a predicted exit point of the first set of instructions. The processor fetches a subset of the first set of instructions based on the predicted exit point.

  • Publication number: 20250123924
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for shared codeword in two-pass access operations. The memory may use a read read modify write write (RRMWW) cycle to write data and metadata to the array. Metadata and a data codeword are read out as part of two read access passes and combined into a shared codeword. Error correction is performed on the shared codeword, and then the corrected shared codeword is modified with write data and metadata. Updated parity is generated based on the modified shared codeword and the modified data and updated parity and the metadata are written as two write access passes.

  • Patent number: 12271623
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for metadata implementation for memory devices are described. A memory device may read metadata, transfer the metadata to a buffer, and read information. For example, the memory device may receive a read command from a host device to read information. The memory device may execute a first internal read command to read the metadata associated with the information. Upon reading the metadata, the memory device may store the metadata in the buffer (e.g., one or more latches). Upon determining that a duration has elapsed, the memory device may execute a second internal read command to read the information associated with the metadata. The memory device transmits the information and the metadata to the host device. In some other cases, the memory device may write information, store metadata in a buffer, and write the metadata (e.g., a different order than for read operations).

  • Publication number: 20250092753
Abstract: A regulator valve has a check valve manifold for use in subsea control circuits. For example, the regulator valve having the check valve manifold can be used in a circuit between a directional control valve and an actuator for a gate valve. The check valve manifold can have a flange that attaches to the regulator valve to communicate with the supply-side and outlet-side of the regulator valve. Internal communication inside the manifold includes a check valve. If the pressure in the circuit downstream of the regulator valve needs to be vented, the check valve can open to allow the pressure to bleed from the outlet-side back to the supply-side without needing to pass through the internal pressure control valve of the regulator.

  • Publication number: 20250069638
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for adjusting a refresh rate during a self-refresh state are described. A memory system may enter a self-refresh state and execute a first set of refresh operations on a set of rows of memory cells at the memory system according to a first rate. The memory system may determine, based on executing the first set of refresh operations, that a counter associated with the set of refresh operations satisfies a threshold for a second time while the memory system is in the self-refresh state. In response to the counter satisfying the threshold for the second time, a flip-flop circuit at the memory system may modify an output of the flip-flop circuit and the memory system may decrease the rate for executing the refresh operations to a second rate based on the modified output of the flip-flop circuit.
