  • Patent number: 6236795
Abstract: A fiber optic cable distribution frame assembly includes a support frame in which a number of drawers are slidingly supported for movement between stored and extended positions. Incoming and outgoing fiber optic cables are routed to each drawer. Each drawer supports rows of termination connector support brackets, each such bracket including two or more connector support columns. Each such support column has first and second sets of support arms extending therefrom in opposing directions. The support arms extend at an angle of between 25 degrees and 65 degrees relative to the plane in which the drawer slides. An adaptor is supported by each of the support arms. Each adaptor receives termination connectors from a selected pair of incoming and outgoing fiber optic cables for removably coupling the selected pair of fiber optic cables.

  • Patent number: 5083941
Abstract: A multiple telephone jack slide assembly includes a jack support member for supporting a multitude of telephone jacks upon an electronic wire connecting system. The jack support member is molded from resilient flame-retardant plastic and includes a channel formed by a rectangular-shaped, elongated slotted aperture. The telephone jacks include side walls which slidingly engage edge portions of the slotted aperture to support the jacks within the channel. The channel has closed ends, and the length of the channel is substantially an integral multiple N of the length of each jack whereby N jacks can be supported in abutting end-to-end relationship with each other and with the closed ends of the channel. The jack support member is sufficiently resilient to permit the channel to be temporarily pulled apart near its central portion for insertion of the jacks into the channel.

  • Patent number: 4846697
Abstract: A universal wiring connection cord is disclosed for interconnecting various types of wiring sockets that are interconnected with the electrical lighting system of a towing vehicle to various types of wiring plugs that may be interconnected with the electrical lighting system of a trailer. The universal wiring connection cord includes a central cable housing a number of stranded electrical wires bundled therein. The bundled electrical wires extend from a first end of the central cable and are provided with electrical connectors adapted to be engaged with the electrical terminals housed within the wiring socket mounted to the towing vehicle. The ends of the wires extending from the first end of the central cable are free to move with respect to one another in order to be positioned in the pinout pattern of the wiring socket.

  • Patent number: 4800465
Abstract: A mounting plate for supporting one or more fuse blocks to a telephone equipment bay frame includes a channel-shaped, elongated support member having mounting arms extending from the opposing ends thereof and adapted to be secured to opposing vertically-oriented standards of the bay frame. The central portion of the elongated support member includes a substantially planar surface used to support one or more of various types of fuse blocks. Sixteen pairs of wiring terminal holes are formed within the elongated support member spaced at equal intervals commensurate with the spacing of wiring terminals provided in conventional fuse blocks. Screw mounting holes are also formed in the elongated support member at spaced intervals midway between adjacent pairs of wiring terminal holes and lying along the central axis of the elongated support member for receiving mounting screws used to secure the fuse blocks to the mounting plate.
