Patent number: 12204612Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for implementing self-bias detection based on performance and importance. A disclosed computer implemented method aggregates continuous input data through a K-means clustering algorithm to reduce the number of aggregated sub-group data pairs, enabling a reduced calculation time for computing bias and enhanced performance. The self-bias detection identifies a scale factor and a balance factor of aggregated sub-group data pairs, which indicate the importance of the detected bias.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2023Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Ze Ming Zhao, Peng Hui Jiang, Xiao Tian Xu, Wenjing Liao, Zhi E. Publication number: 20240304275Abstract: Provided is a method for determining an evolutionary primitive ancestry of Goji berry and use thereof, which relate to the field of species origin and genetic evolution. The method for determining an evolutionary primitive ancestry of Goji berry includes developing genome-wide molecular markers of Goji berries based on Specific-Locus Amplified Fragment Sequencing (SLAF-seq) technology, and determining the primitive ancestry of Goji berry through bioinformatic analysis. The selected Goji berries include not only wild Goji berries from Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Henan, but also Korean and Mexican Goji berry germplasms, with a wide range of sample sources, strong representation and large amount of information. The original ancestral genetic taxa of each Goji berry can be accurately determined through big data analysis. The gap in the origin and genetic evolution of Goji berry is thus fulfilled. The method has a good prospect in application.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 3, 2023Publication date: September 12, 2024Applicant: WOLFBERRY SCIENCE INSTITUTE, NAAFSInventors: Haijing YUAN, Yu CHEN, Haiyan YUAN, Lanying LIU, Chun'e ZHANG, Xiangcai LIU, Xu FENG, Liguo DONG, Mei TIAN, Jinzhong ZHU

Patent number: 8119702Abstract: The present invention provides a resin composition consisting of a functionalized polypropylene (PP) and a functionalized styrenic thermoplastic elastomer (TPS). The functionalized PP is a PP grafted with N-vinyl pyrrolidone (NVP) and glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), and the functionalized TPS is a TPS grafted with acrylamide or methacrylamide. The functionalized PP and the functionalized TPS are subjected to melt blending to obtain the resin composition with a slight cross-linking structure due to the reaction between GMA and acrylamide or methacrylamide, therefore the resin composition presents good physical properties. Besides, the resin composition without additional plasticizer or other small molecular organic compounds can be utilized in blood bags, blood transfusion and collection apparatuses, etc. Thus, it does not release small molecular substances which are of potential harm to human body during use.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2010Date of Patent: February 21, 2012Assignee: Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry Chinese Academy of SciencesInventors: Shifang Luan, Jinghua Yin, Zhongzhi Li, Jianwei Wang, E Zhang, Huawei Yang
