Publication number: 20240106140Abstract: A stacked I/O connector with surface mountable tails and a printed circuit board (PCB) configured to receive the connector. The connector may avoid terminal deformations or scratches when the connector is mounted to the PCB. The PCB may include solder pads on a single surface or both surfaces. The sold pads may be configured for the tails of the connector to be attached with a surface mount soldering technique. As a result, the connector has high density and high speed, requires, requires a smaller mounting area on a PCB, relaxes the limitations in routing PCB traces, and reduces the electrical performance deterioration caused by PCB trace routing limitations. The connector may have row-oriented terminal subassemblies, holes in the connector housing and other features to facilitate reliable manufacture and operation of the connector.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2023Publication date: March 28, 2024Applicant: Amphenol East Asia Electronic Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.Inventors: Qigui Xu, E Zhao, Zhigang Sheng, Shengxian Zhou

Method for predicting corrosion and spontaneous combustion of sulfur-related petrochemical equipment
Patent number: 11428654Abstract: Disclosed is a method for predicting corrosion and spontaneous combustion of sulfur-related petrochemical equipment. The method solves the issues in the existing techniques that includes narrow predicting range, high workload in installation and maintenance, and time lag in predicting corrosion and spontaneous combustion inside equipment. The method comprises a step of a dual index system prediction, which includes a step of monitoring a temperature and a step of detecting SO2 gas generated by spontaneous combustion. The time when spontaneous combustion occurs can be accurately calculated by using a fitted quantitative relationship formula generated by the spontaneous combustion of corrosion products. The method has a low Labor cost. The method has a low labor cost and, does not require on-site gas detection to be carried out by means of manual detection, which both reduces the cost and ensures the detection accuracy.Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 2018Date of Patent: August 30, 2022Assignee: NANJING TECH UNIVERSITYInventors: Zhirong Wang, Shuoxun Shen, Shengping Zhao, Juncheng Jiang, Xue'e Zhao, Zhan Dou -

Patent number: 7014797Abstract: Novel ultraviolet absorbing compounds that are liquid in nature, are extremely low in color and are highly effective in providing protection in wavelength ranges for which previous attempts at low-color ultraviolet absorbers have failed are provided herein. Such compounds provide such excellent, inexpensive, and beneficial protection from ultraviolet exposure within various media, including, but not limited to, clear thermoplastics. The particular compounds are generally polymeric in nature including various chain lengths of polyoxyalkylenes thereon and are liquid in nature to facilitate handling and introduction within the target media. In addition, such ultraviolet absorbers also exhibit extremely low migratory properties thereby providing long-term protective benefits to the target media as well.Type: GrantFiled: December 31, 2002Date of Patent: March 21, 2006Assignee: Milliken & CompanyInventors: Todd D.
