Abstract: A running board assembly of a vehicle is disclosed herein. A deployment mechanism is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A plurality of step pads are coupled to the deployment mechanism and are each movable between an undeployed position and a deployed position. When the plurality of step pads are each in the deployed position and the deployment mechanism is in the extended position, the plurality of step pads are arranged as a stairway leading up to an entryway of the vehicle.

Abstract: The seat assembly for an interior of a motor vehicle comprises a seat back having a recess including a bottom, and a collapsible stroller having a deployed position and a retracted position adapted to be received in the recess. The stroller includes a pair of opposed frame members defining a plane, a pair of rear wheel support members, a pair of connecting links, and a pair of front wheel support members. Each of the rear wheel support members is connected to a frame member at a first connection point and pivotable thereabout between a first position corresponding to the deployed position of the stroller and a second position corresponding to the retracted position of the stroller. In their second position, the rear wheel support members lie substantially in the plane defined by the frame.

Abstract: A seat assembly for an interior of a motor vehicle interior is disclosed. A pair of opposed side walls extend upwardly from a floor of the vehicle, and a guide track disposed on an upper surface of the each of the side walls. A seat frame is movable along the guide track, with a seat back connected to a rear end of the seat frame. A cushion is connected to the seat frame proximate a front end of the seat frame, and pivotal between a closed position and an open position. A bin is disposed generally below the cushion and accessible when the cushion is pivoted to the open position. The bin is engaged with the seat frame and movable therewith when the seat frame is moved along the guide track. Optionally, the bin is fastened to the seat frame, and accessible through a door disposed proximate the rear end of the seat frame.

Abstract: An apparatus (10) for selecting a vehicle seat and obtaining user information includes a CPU (11) connected to an input device (12), a monitor (13), a speaker (14) and a memory (15). A method of operating the apparatus (10) includes storing a plurality of vehicle interior photographs in the memory (15), generating screens on the monitor (13) and audio on the speaker (14) requesting user related information be entered utilizing the input device (12), utilizing the user entered information to select a vehicle having the seat best suited for the user, displaying the stored photograph of the selected vehicle interior on the monitor (13) and storing the user entered information in the memory (15).
