    Abstract: A rotary internal combustion engine is disclosed in which radially mounted pistons are used to provide compression and ignition, and expansion occurs in a separate rotor having hollow vanes which are driven during the expansion portion of the cycle. The vanes utilize a moment arm which is very large producing a large torque output.
