  • Patent number: 5636980
Abstract: A burner apparatus for burning petroleum products during well testing. The apparatus comprises a plurality of burner nozzles for mixing air, oil or other flammable hydrocarbon, and in some cases steam, and discharges the mixture for burning. Each module may have a plurality of burner nozzles, and a plurality of such modules may be connected together. Each burner nozzle has a body with an air inlet and a fluid inlet, a nozzle insert disposed in the body and having an air port in communication with the air inlet and a fluid port in communication with the fluid inlet. Sealing is provided between the nozzle insert and the body. The body may also have a steam inlet, and the nozzle insert may also have a steam port in communication with the steam inlet, for directing steam into the apparatus to increase the mixing energy and temperature, thereby facilitating atomization.

  • Patent number: 4750700
Abstract: A hook apparatus used for hanging articles on pegboards which includes a length of plated, resilient wire bent at various points and at various angles to create a hook which requires only a single hole for tight engagement. Due to the geometrical configuration of the sections relative to the board surface and to the pegboard hole, pressing the hook into position in a single hole in a pegboard generates a spring force in the hook which is opposed by the pegboard surface and hole edges, and which holds the hook tightly in position. Although engagement in only one hole is necessary for tight engagement, the hook apparatus is of such a configuration that the hook may be engaged in an upper pegboard hole for maximum tightness, with a stabilizer bend portion engaging a next lower hole to resist side-to-side deflection.

  • Patent number: 4351117
Abstract: A drawing apparatus includes a base member of rectangular form with front, rear and opposite side margins and an upper surface with a compass rose plate for affixing a drawing sheet thereon and pivotally mounted to the base member upper surface. A carriage frame is positioned generally on the upper surface of the base member and has spaced guide members slidably mounted to the base member side margins and interconnected by a crossbar for coordinated translatory movement. A parallel rule structure is supported by the carriage frame and has first and second drawing bars and first and second links forming an expansible and contractible parallelogram generally positioned atop the compass rose plate. The links are respectively mounted to the spaced guide members of the carriage frame for sliding movement therewith over the compass rose plate and for positioning the parallelogram rule structure at selected locations thereon.
