    Abstract: An apparatus is provided for operation on a roof surface to facilitate accurate rapid placement and fastening of shingles while enabling the operator of the apparatus to remain in substantially upright posture. The apparatus carries a supply of shingles, and provides a guide which delivers each shingle to its proper position. A fastener device carried by the apparatus automatically applies fasteners to said shingles at predetermined intervals.
