  • Patent number: 11950958
Abstract: A therapeutic ultrasound method configured to adaptively transmit ultrasound pulses toward microbubbles in a treatment region to remove an occlusion is described. In some examples, the system may include a treatment pulse unit configured to transmit an ultrasound pulse to a treatment region of a subject, the treatment region including a plurality of microbubbles. An echo detection unit may be configured to receive one or more echoes responsive to the ultrasound pulse. In some examples, the method may also include a data processor configured to identify, using data associated with the echoes, at least one echo signature indicative of a dynamic state of the microbubbles in response to the ultrasound pulse. A controller may be configured to adjust one or more parameters of an additional ultrasound pulse transmitted to the treatment region via the treatment pulse unit based on the at least one echo signature.

  • Publication number: 20190102858
Abstract: Embodiments relate generally to systems and method for locating and obtaining a personal mode of transportation, such as a bicycle, motorcycle, moped, or scooter. A system may comprise at least one computing platform; and a computer program including a computing platform application on a non-transitory, tangible computer readable medium such as a memory, wherein the application performs a sequence of functions on the computing platform, and wherein the computing platform application is configured to generate a request for information on a location of available modes of personal transportation.

  • Patent number: 7562887
Abstract: A caster suspension system for a multi-axle transport vehicle for moving heavy loads includes two fluid activated cylinders and two spaced apart arms for each wheel and axle set which allow the transport vehicle to be raised and lowered with respect to the roadway. The suspension system mechanically stabilizes the axles with respect to the transport vehicle thereby reducing axle yaw and allowing higher transport speeds. As the transport vehicle moves, the suspension system casters into alignment with the direction of travel.

  • Publication number: 20070262552
Abstract: A multi-axle transport vehicle for hauling heavy loads including a plurality of modules in mechanical communication mounted on axles and wheels and being driven by a first prime mover and a draw bar, the modules including forward, center and rear modules, an automatic steering unit cooperating with the draw bar and having a hydraulic control unit and a plurality of push-pull pistons and steering rods for controlling axle and wheel position, a central spine formed on the forward module and carrying a forward bearing for providing structural support for a transported load mounted on the center module, a suspension system including first and second arms attached to an axle linkage member and cooperating with first and second fluid activated cylinders attached to the modules for dynamically suspending the transported load, and a bearing positioned on the rear module for providing structural support to the transported load.

  • Patent number: 7159888
Abstract: A modular transport vehicle includes a plurality of dollies which are removably connected to a central spine. Because the components of the present invention may be disconnected, the transport vehicle may be readily disassembled and moved from location to location using conventional transportation means. The modularity also allows the width of the transport vehicle to be adjusted using different widths of connectors to accommodate road conditions and/or governmental regulations.

  • Patent number: 5663398
Abstract: A process for preparing functionalized alkyllithium compounds includes reacting in an inert solvent a protected functionalized alkyl halide with an alkali metal in the presence of a catalytic compound of the formula(RR.sup.1 R.sup.2 M.sup.a).sub.y A(R.sup.3).sub.xwherein R, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, alkyl or alkenyl groups containing one to thirteen carbon atoms; R.sup.3 is independently selected from aryl groups containing 6 to 18 carbon atoms, four to six-membered heterocyclic carbon containing groups containing one to two heteroatoms selected from oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur; hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, monoalkylaminoalkyl, dialkylaminoalkyl and dialkylphosphinoalkyl groups containing two to thirteen carbon atoms; M.sup.
