Abstract: The Snap and Shoot Takedown System is the first sport specific training system designed for wrestling that combines the capacity for building strength, speed, and precision technique, while providing human-like reactions. Steel pipe is used to provide the primary structure, simulating the human skeletal system. Closed-cell Nitro PVC is used to simulate the human muscle system and to provide protection upon impact. Neoprene is used to simulate the human skin layer and to provide protection from abrasive contact. Closed coil springs are used to supply the strength building resistance and to simulate the mobility of the human joints, allowing the parts of the Snap and Shoot Takedown System to move independently.
