Abstract: A fall protection device includes a frame, a rolling member, a safety belt, a braking plate, a braking part, and a restoring spring. The frame has a first side plate. An outer side surface of the first side plate is provided with a blocking part. A rolling member is rotatably disposed on the frame. A safety belt is wound around the rolling member. A braking plate is engaged to the rolling member and has an inner side surface, which faces the outer side surface. The braking part is pivotally disposed on the braking plate and is located between the inner side surface and the outer side surface, whereby to ensure that the braking part at a braking position could be abutting against the blocking part.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polyester composition comprising: (A) 15 to 99 wt % of polyester blend of two or more polyesters based on the total weight of the polyester composition, (B) 0.05 to 5 wt % of a transesterification accelerator based on the total weight of the polyester composition, wherein the transesterification accelerator comprises alkali metal carbonate salt, alkali earth metal carbonate salt, alkali metal bicarbonate salt, alkali earth metal bicarbonate salt and combination thereof, (C) optionally a reinforcing filler, and (D) optionally further an additive. The present invention also relates to an article prepared from the polyester composition and a method of preparing the article.

Abstract: A safety belt buckle includes a base and a latch. The base includes a chamber with at least one positioning member disposed therein, and an opening communicating with the chamber. The latch includes a tongue with at least one recess with one open side, is adapted to be inserted into the chamber through the opening. The at least one positioning member is introduced into the at least one recess through the open side thereof to be engaged with the at least one recess when the tongue is inserted into the chamber. By the design mentioned above, the latch could be engaged with the positioning member of the base through the recess. Whereby, the latch still could be engaged with the base securely and would not be released easily and accidentally when any one of the latch and the base is laterally pushed or pulled.

Abstract: A fall arrest device includes a bracket having first and second side panels, a rotating member rotatably mounted to the bracket, a safety belt wound around the rotating member, a brake wheel engaged with the rotating member and having a groove, a brake block pivotally connected to the brake wheel and located between an inner surface of the brake wheel and an outer surface of the first side panel, and a restoring spring. A stopper is disposed on the outer surface of the first side panel. In this way, the groove could accommodate a part of a body of the restoring spring, preventing the brake block from propelling away from a surface of the brake wheel by the restoring spring, preventing the brake block from rubbing against the first side panel.

The safety belt is wound around the rotation unit. The braking plate is engaged with the rotation unit and includes an interior surface which faces the exterior surface of the first lateral plate. The braking block is pivotally disposed on the braking plate and located between the interior surface of the braking plate and the exterior surface of the first lateral plate. The present invention could ensure the braking block to abut against the stopping block as the braking block is at an expanding position, and thereby to improve a reliability of the lockup function.

The axial buffer device includes a buffer rod having a first friction surface; and a buffer member having a second friction surface which contacts the first friction surface. When any one of the buffer rod and the buffer member is pulled by a force which is greater than a default value to overcome a maximum friction between the buffer member and the buffer rod, the buffer member would slide on the buffer rod with friction to cushion the pulling force. The fall protection device includes a frame, a rotary member disposed in the frame and adapted to roll up a safety belt, and the axial buffer device. One of the buffer rod and the buffer member is connected to a hanging point and the other one is connected to the frame.
