Abstract: An apparatus and method to adjust item recommendations are disclosed herein. A first image attribute of a query image is compared to a second image attribute of each of a plurality of inventory images of a plurality of inventory items to identify the inventory items similar to the query image. Item recommendations comprising the identified inventory items in a first listing order are provided for display at a remote device. A second listing order of the identified inventory items is determined based on a user preference for a particular one of the identified inventory items. At least the second listing order is provided to the remote device for re-display of the item recommendations in accordance with the second listing order.

Abstract: Computing systems and methods for organizing group attended ticketed events. A computing system includes one or more memory device or storage components adapted to store user information regarding users of the computing system as well as event information regarding upcoming ticketed events, and one or more processors for conducting activities regarding ticketing for group members. Such activities include displaying information regarding a ticketed event, accepting a user input for inviting invitees to the ticketed event, communicating invitations to the invitees based on the input, receiving invitee response information from the invitees regarding interest in attending the ticketed event, and accepting a purchase request for tickets to the ticketed event from the user, wherein the purchase request is based at least in part on the invitee response information.

Abstract: An electronic device includes one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to: during a first communication session, sending first information regarding a transaction to a user device that is participating in the first transaction, interrupting the first communication session, pausing for a time to allow the user device to process the first information and to generate second information in furtherance of the transaction, establishing a second communication session with the user device, receiving the second information from the user device during the second communication session, and further processing the transaction using the second information.

Abstract: A system for performing a retail payment between a customer and a merchant is provided. The system includes a signed scrip having a public key, a credit value, a signed scrip validation stamp, a credit value, and a validation stamp; a signed invoice comprising a transaction list and an invoice validation stamp; and a private key complementary to the public key, wherein the public key is used to decode the signed scrip; the private key is stored in a server coupled to a network; and the private key is used by the server to validate the authenticity of the signed invoice. Also provided is a method for performing a financial transaction using a system as above; and a non-transitory machine-readable medium including a plurality of machine-readable instructions to cause a server to perform a method as above, is provided.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, systems and methods for facilitating financial transactions over a network include communicating with a financial institution over the network, wherein the financial institution includes a first user account related to a user. The systems and methods include receiving a fund transfer request from the financial institution on behalf of the user and establishing a second user account related to the user based on user information passed with the fund transfer request. The systems and methods include processing the fund transfer request by linking the first user account to the second user account based on the user information passed with the fund transfer request, receiving funds from the financial institution associated with the first user account, and depositing the received funds in the second user account on behalf of the user.
