  • Patent number: 11866853
Abstract: A crosslapper, a process and a formed fabric web shielding device for a cross lapper shield a formed fabric web moved in the crosslapper. The formed fabric web has a bottom side, a top side and side surfaces located at formed fabric longitudinal edges. The crosslapper includes a displaceable main carriage and a crosslapper laying belt feeding the formed fabric web in a web direction to the displaceable main carriage with the formed fabric web bottom side located on the cross lapper laying belt. The shielding device includes a housing configured to be arranged in the crosslapper and configured to cover the side surfaces of the formed fabric web located on the laying belt and being fed to the displaceable main carriage, which side surfaces extend along the web direction, to shield the side surfaces of the formed fabric web against external environmental effects.

  • Publication number: 20200362479
Abstract: A monitoring process is provided for a method for producing a nonwoven product. Properties of a nonwoven pre-product (3), in particular the humidity, the electric charge, the weight distribution, the fiber orientation, the fiber mixing ratio and/or the fiber opening degree of an unprocessed fiber web, are detected by a detection unit (41) having one or more sensors (410).

  • Publication number: 20200299870
Abstract: A monitoring process is provided for a method for producing a nonwoven fabric (7) made of fibers (1, 2) in a nonwoven fabrication plant (15). Humidity and/or the electric charge of the fibers (1, 2) or a nonwoven pre-product (3) is detected by a detection unit (41) in a detection zone (5) and the detection results are processed in a data processing unit (42). An actuation command (45) is generated for at least one actuation unit (50) of the nonwoven fabrication plant (15). The actuation unit (50) is configured to set the humidity of the fibers (1, 2) and/or the humidity of the nonwoven pre-product (3) and/or the ambient conditions in at least one portion of the nonwoven pre-production plant (10).

  • Patent number: 9909236
Abstract: A cross-lapper (1) includes an upper carriage (2), a laying carriage (3), and two endless laying belts, which are each guided on the main carriages (2, 3) by deflecting rollers (15 to 21). The one laying belt (6) is designed as a feeding belt, which carries a fibrous web (9) and feeds the fibrous web to the upper carriage (2). The other laying belt (7) is designed as a counter belt. The upper carriage (2) has a belt deflection device (12) for both laying belts (6, 7). At the belt deflection device (12), the laying belt (6) is deflected by approximately 180 degrees from a feeding direction (11) thereof to the opposite direction by means of three of more deflection points (15, 16, 17).

  • Patent number: 9617104
Abstract: A compensating device (1) for fluctuating transport speeds of a fiber nonwoven (3). The compensating device (1) has a buffer belt (2) driven in a loop with three or four or more deflection points (12, 13, 14, 15, 16) and with a variable sag (11) of the carrying run supporting the fiber nonwoven (3). The compensating device (1) further has an adjusting element (19) for adjusting the location of at least one deflecting point (15, 16).
