  • Patent number: 4949911
Abstract: A winding crossbeam on a winding machine, which is pivotally-mounted about a pivoting axis between two side shields of the winding machine and which slidably and adjustably receives a plurality of winding stations. The technical problem is the suppression of the bending of long winding crossbeams. The winding crossbeam comprises in the central region concentrically to the pivoting axis a circular segmental arc. Carrying rollers are provided for the supporting of the circular segmental arc.

  • Patent number: 4512529
Abstract: A winding machine comprising individual slides cooperating in pairs and being movable on a slide guide and carrying pendulum arms which comprise a driving shaft positioned coaxially with respect to the swivel axis of the pendulum arms which is connected to a driving motor, and a receiver device driven by the driving shaft for the winding core. The technical problem of the invention resides in the adaptation of the driving moment to the winding tension required in each specific case. The pendulum arms are provided, for the optional equipment, with further driving motors. By adding additional winding motors it is possible to enlarge the winding tension range considerably. The winding motors, not used in a specific case, are parked on an extension rail out of the working width of the machine.

  • Patent number: 4497455
Abstract: A winding machine for longitudinal slit strips, with slides which carry pendulum arms with receivers for winding cores and are movable, on a guide, transversely to the longitudinal slit direction, a driving drum being positioned beneath the guide, which driving shaft is frictionally connectable, with a driving wheel of each slide, and each driving wheel driving the winding core receiver of the specific pendulum arm. The technical problem is in the facility and shortening of the re-tooling to other slitting widths as well as in the adjustment of the winding tension. The driving shaft comprises a continuous peripheral surface. Each driving wheel is provided as a friction wheel which is brought into frictional engagement with the driving shaft. Each driving wheel is coupled via a clutch, preferably an eddy-current clutch with adjustable clutch disk, to a driving shaft.

  • Patent number: 4387861
Abstract: Machine for separating double-rolled thin aluminum sheet and for winding the separated sheets onto winding shafts, the coil-carrying supply shaft being driven by a motor-generator controlled by a speed control circuit for a constant sheet speed, following acceleration of the supply coil. The traction rolls and deflecting rolls in the processing section are driven by a traction motor controlled by a tension control circuit for a constant sheet tension independently of the sheet speed. The winding shafts for the separated sheets are similarly controlled by tension control circuits for a constant sheet tension independently of the sheet speed. The control circuits have preset members for the adjustment of nominal speed and tension settings.
