Patent number: 9935441Abstract: A high voltage connector for establishing a high voltage connection between two high voltage lines is disclosed, with the high voltage connector including a carrier element with a first guiding groove and a second guiding groove, wherein the carrier element includes a high voltage insulating material, wherein the first guiding groove and the second guiding groove are arranged parallel to one another and extend in the longitudinal direction of the carrier element, and wherein each of the first guiding groove and the second guiding groove is designed for accommodating a wire of each of a first high voltage line and a second high voltage line. In this way, a high voltage connection can be established which is insensitive to electrical interference, as well as mechanically stable and resistive, and also works at critical pressure.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2016Date of Patent: April 3, 2018Assignee: Tesat-Spacecom GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Michael Eberhard Müller, Günther Jaumann, Marc Spies, Dieter Schneider

Patent number: 8999246Abstract: The liquid feed nozzle assemblies for a circulating fluid bed reactor comprise (i) a throttle body premixer to combine liquid feed with atomization steam upstream of a nozzle body to form a liquid feed/steam mixture comprising liquid feed droplets; (ii) a conduit connected to the venturi premixer and to a discharge nozzle body to convey a flow of the liquid/steam mixture created by the premixer to the nozzle body; (iii) a discharge nozzle connected to the flow conduit to shear the liquid feed/steam mixture to create liquid feed droplets of reduced size and (iv) a disperser at the outlet of the discharge nozzle to provide a spray jet of liquid feed having an increased surface area relative to a cylindrical jet. The nozzle assembles are particularly useful in fluid coking units using heavy oil feeds such a tar sands bitumen.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2011Date of Patent: April 7, 2015Assignee: ExxonMobil Research and Engineering CompanyInventors: Edward Chan, Brian Knapper, Eberhard Mueller, Jennifer McMillan, Jonathan Tyler, Darwin Edward Kiel, Rathna P. Patent number: 6707837Abstract: Photon flow in an electromagnetic resonator is controlled, in a cavity having reflecting walls, by designing the cavity shape, size, reflectivity and/or medium therein so that the transition probability for the transition of photons between neighboring modes in the range between an initial resonant frequency and a target resonant frequency is larger than the probability for the absorption of photons.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2001Date of Patent: March 16, 2004Inventor: Eberhard Müller

Patent number: 5616308Abstract: A process for producing oxygen-free or low-oxygen shaped bodies of silicon carbide, particularly SiC fibers, by using chemically reactive polysilanes and/or polycarbosilanes as precursors. In accordance with the invention green fibers are stabilized preferably in the presence of reactive gases.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1995Date of Patent: April 1, 1997Assignee: Solvay Deutschland GmbHInventors: Robin Richter, Hans-Peter Martin, Gerhard Roewer, Eberhard Mueller, Hans Kraemer, Peter Sartori, Andreas Oelschlaeger, Wolfgang Habel, Bernhard Harnack

Patent number: 5453109Abstract: A method for the preparation of a salt mixture useful for hardening steel parts, including of potassium cyanate, potassium carbonate and sodium carbonate, wherein 2.2 to 2.3 moles of urea is first reacted with 1 mole of potassium carbonate to form potassium cyanate. The escaping ammonia is converted with formaldehyde into hexamethylenetetramine. The reaction product, which is potassium cyanate and potassium carbonate, is ground, mixed with powdered sodium carbonate and pressed at between 80.degree. and 230.degree. C. into shaped pieces.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 1994Date of Patent: September 26, 1995Assignee: Durferrit GmbH ThermotechnikInventors: Peter Schalke, Eberhard Mueller, Matthias Kremer, Georg Wahl

Patent number: 5006358Abstract: This invention relates to apparatus and methods for producing formed articles such as tortillas. Embodiments include apparatus comprising a non-sticking, heat tolerant, endless conveyor belt moving at desired constant speeds to position tortilla dough balls between the heated platens of a tortilla press. The press is moveable in the direction of the path of travel of the belt at the same speed as the belt when the platens are in their closed position with the dough balls squeezed between them. Thereafter, the press may be opened sufficiently for the upper platen to disengage the flattened dough and then slowed, stopped and moved counter-directionally to the direction of travel of the belt. At a pre-determined position, the press is again stopped and reversed to cause it to travel again in the direction of travel of the belt.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 1990Date of Patent: April 9, 1991Inventors: Manuel J. Ribio, Alberto de la Vega, Eberhard Mueller-Lobeck

Patent number: 4003688Abstract: A revolving cylindrical escapement extrusion apparatus for shaping foodstuff articles of the type having a nozzle orifice slot and means for feeding foodstuff material under pressure for extrusion through this elongated orifice. A cylindrical escapement valving member revolves adjacent to the downstream side of an adjustable orifice slot and preferably includes at least two axially spaced and circumferentially overlapping openings in its cylindrical perimeter for shaping foodstuff blanks, and it revolves its shaping openings in front of the adjustable orifice slot for controlling the extrusion of foodstuff material through the slot to shape the material into product blanks. By virtue of having at least two circumferentially overlapping openings in the revolving cylindrical escapement member there is achieved a continuing flow of the material being extruded.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 1974Date of Patent: January 18, 1977Assignee: Automation International CorporationInventor: Eberhard Mueller-Lobeck
