  • Patent number: 9636712
Abstract: An apparatus for separating granular material into at least three fractions a static cross-flow sifter and a dynamic sifter. The static has several impact and flow-conducting elements stepped one below the other in a housing having a first material inlet, at least one sifting-gas inlet and at least one coarse-particle outlet. The dynamic sifter has a rod basket rotatable about a vertical axis, a housing containing the basket, and at least one medium-particle outlet and one fine-particle outlet. The housing of the static sifter merges directly horizontally and laterally into the housing of the dynamic sifter.

  • Publication number: 20140306044
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for sifting granular material into at least three fractions, comprising at least one static sifter (2) forming a first sifting stage and at least one dynamic sifter (3) forming a second sifting stage, wherein the static sifter (2) has several impact installations and conducting installations (8, 9) arranged one below the other in the manner of stairs in a sifter housing (4) having a first material inlet (5), a sifting gas inlet (6), and a coarse material outlet (7), wherein the dynamic sifter (3) is designed as a rod basket sifter having a rotary rod basket (12) and has a sifter housing (11) having at least one medium material outlet (17) and one fine material outlet (18).

  • Patent number: 7306940
Abstract: An electroporation device having a signal generating circuit (3) connectable at the output to electrodes (5) fittable to a substrate (35) having cells. The electrodes (5) produce an electric field which induces permeabilization of the cell membranes to facilitate introduction of substances into the cells. The amplitude of the signal (12) applied to the electrodes is closed-loop controlled on the basis of the impedance (Z(?)) of the substrate, so as to regulate the amplitude of the signal following a reduction in impedance caused by permeabilization of the cell membranes.

  • Patent number: 4846666
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a burner in which a proportion of the fuel is delivered via an outer annular duct and accelerated at the outlet end to a high speed, while a further proportion of the fuel is delivered via a second, inner annular duct and retarded at the outlet end to a slow speed. This results in stabilization and regulation of the principal flame by a permanent pilot flame.
